Walter Williams is always on the mark, although he makes a mistake here. The Negro illegitimacy rate fell to 14% in 1930, not 1940. By 1940 it was already on the way up, although nothing like what it began to soar to, after the corrupting influence of the "Civil Rights" movement began to really sap personal responsibility.

It is not unreasonable to put a major part of the blame on White agitators & politicians; but the culprits doing the corrupting were all on the Left. Black America has been victimized by demagogues, white & black, who promote Blame & Envy, at the expense of personal responsibility; and those who have corrupted Education, while promoting greater dependency on Government. The cruelty of what has been accomplished in the name of a fake "idealism," is staggering.

Because marriage was never the ultimate goal for glbt's; gaining an official stamp of approval on their behaviors was the reason for insisting on gay marriage, so that then they could infiltrate schools and churches with a facade of legitimacy and begin to destroy those institutions.
