Twitter only has 49 black employees - out of 2,910 staff members in America.
The 35 men and 14 women account for just 1.7 per cent of the firm's US operation, which is 93.8 per cent white or Asian.
It represents a stark lack of progress since last year, when senior executives promised to boost their number of African American staff from 2 per cent.

It’s not as easy as people think to find black technical people. There really aren’t enough of them to go around which is part of the reason for H1B.

They are all too busy importing cheap Indian labor instead of investing in hiring and training fellow citizens in their local communities. Another and very important reason to end H1B. Seriously, I have worked in IT since getting out of the Navy and there really are few jobs wherein we need to import cheap labor, unless your reason is to suppress American wages and and increase profits.

BFD! Put it in a real perspective. Match that against the percentage of blacks in all their job applicants. Betting it is pretty low.

So, what will happen is that they will hire warm, albeit darker, bodies to fill seats, they will be found to be incompetent, and thus racism will be perpetuated while those people will lose their self-worth, failing at a job that they can’t do. In the meantime, the black people who were there before and deservedly so, will be lumped in with them. Everybody wins!
Seriously, I HAVE worked with competent black technical people, and they have told me how unfair it was, after they (and their parents) broke their a**es to get them where they were, to deal with white people who would automatically assume that they got their jobs simply because of quotas.
MSM (men seeking men ) US media will never touch this with a 10 foot pole...
