In a span of 24 hours from 3 p.m. July 8 to 3 p.m. July 9, CNN pundits and guests said Donald Trump 239 times.
Constant reporting on his phone conversation with Republican chairman Reince Priebus, his interview with CNNs Anderson Cooper, and his controversial statements on illegal immigrants dominated the coverage of the cable channel. At one point, Democratic strategist and CNN analyst Paul Begala referred to the medias obsession with the blustering pseudo-Republican candidate as a Trumpgasm.
For whatever reason, CNN folks need to say the candidates full name when just Trump would suffice happened with alarming frequency.
According to an iQ media search, CNN mentioned ISIS 61 times, Iran 35 times, John Kerry 18 times, and nuclear deal six times during that same time span.
Deciphering every utterance of a deeply unserious person who will never be president was higher on the agenda.

LOL... I love it!
The media loved McCain and Romney too.
That is once every 6 minutes.
If they don’t say “Donald”, they are being trumped.
It is not that they love him, I would say it is counter to your point. Trump is just the willing messenger for an issue that is far long overdue for an HONEST debate. Not supporting him as a candidate but I will enthusiastically support his raising this critical issue to the top of the debate. So long overdue. I suppose next he will start on the Iran nuke deal.
LOL yeah I’m sure its different this time.
“Deciphering every utterance of a deeply unserious person who will never be president was higher on the agenda.”
Methinks the left doth protest too much.
CNN does not love Donald Trump. They are attacking him.
The fact that they are FREAKING OUT if a presidential
candidate speaks in a non “politically correct” way. It validates that it’s EASY to defeat the Establishment line.
CNN along with the rest of liars in the so called MSM want to decide what is truth. This is why they try to silence people through “political correctness”.
The bottom line is this. They can’t win a debate unless people are censored.
Crazy is it not?
If CNN is hirrified, Trump’s doing something right.
Yep—I was suspicious and cynical, but liking the attention he was giving to the immigration issue, until I watched his speech yesterday.
For now, at least, I’ve bought in. I take him as sincere and thoughtful in all his positions and skilled and talented for this politics game.
All good point!
Perhaps this will encourage other Republicans to quit being so dam politically correct. It’s why they are losing. Political correctness is just censorship.
If a tree falls in the forest is it heard?
If CNN says Trump, is there any one listening?
Do more folks learn on on Free Republic than actually heard the original utterances?
OK. so where does Donald Trump stand on Obamacare? If he opposes it why the flip flop from his past support? Same questions on abortion, gay marriage, gun control etc.
There are a whole range of issues like that where the media will eat him alive and neither he nor you will be able to shout down those questions when the media decides the time is right.
This is why we’re supposed to vet candidates.
CNN is doing the same thing that the rest of the so called “MSM” is doing. They are on the war path against Trump.
Obviously they are VERY FEARFUL of what he is saying.
And no more than a dozen people heard each one.And all of *them* were stuck in airport departure lounges at the time.
You are arguing from a position of ignorance.
You've obviously never actually watched any video of him doing battle with the media.
Shouting down media questions might impress your kind, but some of us want actual answers.
Answers?
He’s answered your questions.
You just don’t like the answers, or more likely, don’t listen.
Willfully ignorant is a tough way to live life.
