Computer hackers likely working for the Syrian regime and Hezbollah have managed to penetrate the computers of Israeli and American activists working with the Syrian opposition, exposing sensitive contacts between the sides.
Al-Akhbar, a newspaper serving as Hezbollahs mouthpiece in Lebanon, published a series of articles over the weekend purporting to divulge correspondence between Mendi Safadi, a Druze Israeli and former political adviser to Deputy Regional Cooperation Minister Ayoub Kara, with members of the Syrian opposition around the world, taken from taken from Safadis computer.
The article also contains screenshots of word documents and text message exchanges saved on Safadis computer.
The article alleged that Safadi, working on behalf of the Israeli government, tried to recruit Israeli agents in Syria and Lebanon, smuggle weapons into the hands of Islamist rebel groups in Syria, and locate targets within Syria to be bombed by coalition forces.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Bomb more of Assad’s locations then, to maintain balance and stability.
“Al-Akhbar accused Safadi of trying to sign arms deals with the Islamic State and Nusra Front two radical Islamist organizations active in Syria in the Czech Republics capital Prague. It claimed that the deal never materialized due to Nusra Fronts refusal to sign it outside Syrian territory.”
Uh, why is this buried in the article? This should be the HEADLINE!
Syria has direct evidence of Obama working with ISIS.
As if I trust Hezbollah to tell the truth.
What they claim may or may not be the truth.
We’re talking about terrorists here. They spent decades referring to Israelis as dogs, monkeys, and all sort of evil things.
They’re about as credible as Barack Obama.
Now there’s an insult.
Yes it should, but then again, is that the truth? It sure wouldn’t surprise me. It would surprise me if he wasn’t.
He’s chums with the Muslim Brotherhood. Has advisers from that organization into the White House. Talk about a moron...
If someone in government wanted to leak info without being caught all they would need to do is hide behind these so-called hacks. Who is to say who is really behind the hacks?
What if one party in the U.S. wanted dirt on the opposition for political purposes. They just allow these so-called hacks to happen so they can blame some foreign government, and then when damaging info comes out, they have a scapegoat. it is win win for them.
Good point. Insult to whom?I know. I know.
