Berman served as a judge in the New York State Family Court for Queens County from 1995 to 1998.
On May 21, 1998, he was named by President Bill Clinton to a seat on the District Court for the Southern District of New York that had been vacated by Kevin Thomas Duffy.
He was confirmed by the United States Senate on October 21, 1998. He assumed senior status on September 11, 2011.

I bet Dinesh is taking careful notes of this whole experience. I hope he has a camera.

Poor Dinesh; if he’d only been a Stalinist and exceeded campaign finance laws in favor of Obama, he’d be collecting trophies on stage instead of picking up trash in the streets.
Clearly, this judge is a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of Leftist America, Inc.

Under a proper Conservative government of the right, this lousy judge, along with hundreds of others, should be investigated and hounded until they either resign or commit suicide.

D’Souza’s punishment will not end with the end of his 5 years. He will probably be “violated” long before that time and have to serve the entire sentence after that in prison. He dissed Hussein credibly and must pay and be an example to others.

...”he will be allowed to visit his daughter in London and his elderly mom in India later this year, Berman said.”
If he is so intolerant and arrogant, why would he visit them?
Look at our President, he doesn’t visit his relatives.

“Didnt Justice Kennendy say that At the heart of liberty is the right to define ones own concept of existence?”
Perhaps D’Souza should appeal to Justice Kennedy.

Best to keep track of these liberal monsters. We’re not getting out of this peacefully, nor will there be peace until they are gone.

He marginally violated a law pertaining to political donations, and that draws psychiatric examinations and his sentence is built on a diagnosis if arrogance and insensitivity? What the f**k?? This dying country is morphing into the Soviet Union more each day.Indeed. What the actual ***k.
As to your Soviet Union reference, I authored a quote ten years ago: "First we beat the Soviet Union. Then we became them."
