“Chamberlain was loyal to UK and pretty much had to give in to the nazis due to the uk’s weakness.”

What weakness? Briton had the largest navy in the world. Their French allies has the largest army in World and the Czech army was well trained and well equipped with excellent border defenses. If Hitler attacked Czechoslovakia in 1938, he would have been swiftly defeated. After the Czechs were stabbed in the back, the German generals were astonished by the strength of the Czech defenses.

Wiki: “Although Britain had increased military spending and funding prior to 1939 in response to the increasing strength of Nazi Germany, its forces were still weak by comparison – especially the British Army. Only the Royal Navy – at the time the largest in the world[3] – was of a greater strength than its German counterpart. The British Army only had nine divisions available for war, whereas Germany had 78 and France 86.”

The British army only created 38 infantry divisions during the entire war for all fronts. They were fine troops and excellent fighters. I'm not disparaging them, they were simply irrelevant. Hitler, with a only fraction of his forces, could have wiped out the British in North Africa. He considered it a side show because of his hatred for the "untermenchen" in the East.

“You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor and you will have war.” - Churchill to Chamberlain after Munich.

Or if a Demonicrat is in the White House, he/she/it will surrender to the Islamists. And a GOP-controlled Congress will do........................................nothing.

A few years before the war more important people started seeing clearly and clamoring for Churchill to be included in the cabinet. I am currently reading William Manchester's three volume bio of Churchill, The Last Lion, and I'm basically in that period of the thirties a few years before the war.

Although he was excluded from the cabinet and any decision-making, Churchill had over the years built up a very large network of friends, diplomats, and people in high places who had the info he needed about the Nazis. There was no Freedom Of Information Act in Britain, and Churchill's informers risked being thrown into prison for giving Churchill top secret info.
