We should suspend satire until Obama leaves, if he ever does.
I believe everyone of these headlines and then later I can't remember which ones where satire.

All I had to do was see the heading on this post and my blood pressure set both an ‘all-time’ and Olympic record.
My monitor almost took a flying lesson from the 3rd floor.
I was afraid to go to the main body of this story for fear of my life.
Know what I’m mad at now? In this country TODAY, that headline is really NOT satire and could be accurate.

You might ask the Admin to edit the headline to add “Satire” before too many stupid comments get posted. John Semmes who’s brilliant at satire now has to do that for all his articles, which of course defeats the whole purpose. Alas.
I thought it weird also - is why I posted it. Any ideas of what the bricks are for? And this photo was taken in Russia.

Either your post is satire or you have no idea what that word means. It means cheap, miserly. But like almost everything else these days, it is instantly made into a racial slur because someone is offended and their feelings are hurt.
If we are to ban the “N-” word, the letter might as well be eliminated from the alphabet. Words like no and all its compounds (racist when said to a black), nutrition (racist because it implies that blacks don’t eat healthy food), nachos (racist because it offends Mexicans), etc. Ridiculous isn’t it?

If you're talking about Memorial Hall, that was built in the 1870s when feelings were still running high as a monument to Harvard's Union dead. There never were any Confederate names listed there. Somebody tried to get Confederate names added a few years back, but it didn't happen, and now it certainly won't.
Yale's war memorial does include the names of both Union and Confederate dead, but it was built decades after the war, when feelings had already died down.
