Donald Trump might finally have crossed the line.

Appearing on Saturday at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, the real estate mogul took his running feud with Arizona Sen. John McCain to a new level.

“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

The remarks, which came after days of back-and-forth between McCain and Trump, were met with scattered boos.

Trump gave a very good speech today.

Here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USJAgIxhU6o (25 entire minutes, from today)

I don’t believe he’s going anywhere, except he’s running very hard for the American presidency.

He’s running.

Running. Hard. Like nobody else is.

Hardly.

It is a matter of public record that Trump bankrupted multiple casinos.

It is a matter of public record that Carl Icahn and investment companies controlled by Carl Icahn purchased those bankrupt companies after Trump's banks foreclosed on them.

Trump spent billions of his father's estate on casino ventures and lost all of it.

Those are the hard facts.

Actual businessmen like Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynn consider him a joke.

Trump should have just stuck to the facts when talking about McCain.

I could accept,”I don’t like people who are assholes.”

Better to always stick to the facts.

What we need is a candidate who runs everything through a think-tank of public opinion professionals so they don’t piss anyone off. /s

Good or bad press he’s soaking up all the oxygen and loving it! ......if not careful to pace himself he will run out of oxygen too soon. Meanwhile we’re all enjoying this ride for however long it lasts...nice to see politics shake up and pundits too!

Every time these folks get a chance to find a word, any word they don’t like, they’ll try to slam Trump. But it just doesn’t work.

No matter what Mexico, Univision, MSM and the extreme left, insider professional politicians or drug king pins do, they are all failing.

“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

That was a pretty bold statement. Maybe Trump knows things about McCain's behavior in captivity that we do not know.

McCain behaves more like a Democrat in actions than a Republican. Very interesting development...

I despise that whack job McCain as much as any other Freeper, but mocking a POW crosses the line.

Just last week I predicted that Trump would eventually implode from Foot in Mouth syndrome.

This is a lot quicker than I thought.

Cruz 2016!!!!!!!

Oh, I'm sure I could be completely wrong about Trump: for the first time in his life he may actually be sincere and actually accomplish something on his own.

It could happen. It's not impossible.

But we'll see where he is come primary season.

It will be fun to watch, but my experience tells me he is a sideshow stalking horse for Bush, just like Paul was for McCain.

McCain should have just stuck to the facts when he referred to millions of American’s supporting Trump as “Crazies”.

How desperate is McCain?

It is a matter of public record that Trump bankrupted multiple casinos.

Evidently he owns around 500 businesses, of which he owns 91 percent of, and makes more than 300 million a year and has a total worth of 10 billion according to his recent financial statements. If you are going to argue that some of these many businesses go bankrupt as evidence of him being a "bad businessman," I will have to call you desperate.

Those are the hard facts.

Well, if they're hard facts, it should be pretty easy for you to provide sources for this information demonstrating that Trump "lost billions" on these Casinos and is poorer than his father by those few billions, LOL.

It’s a matter of record politicians throughout our Government, local and otherwise have screwed this country to fill their pockets.......those ARE “the hard facts”.

Let him rock and roll....it’s a good ride for American people to see such gusto, even when he screws up...just let him ride that horse! He’s not the best Jockey but he’s certainly sticking to it.

Meanwhile he uses up the opposition and reveals their tactics....lots to learn as Trump flushes them out.

Btw, I am starting to believe the few political insider supporters left here are actually Bush supporters.

No joke.

I read that theory already. It was written by a Leftist.

I think this theory is a prayer of theirs, but instead it is really galvanizing the testosterone of demoralized conservatives. Look at FR. We like truth delivered with volume. Trump got that.

We’ve been getting nowhere sitting around hoping for one more boring primary cycle, full of political correctness and Marquess of Queensbury Rules, to pop out a conservative as the nominee.
