Knock yourself out, Boris. You’ve got 16 more months with an ally in the White House that, incidentally, consider the USA more of an enemy than you do.

We should start intercepting them with vintage WW2 fighters.

I saw that Putin was bragging that he wrote most of the Iran nuclear plan.

That wouldn’t surprise me at all.

They look ancient but the Bears can fly forever and deliver nukes 1000+ miles away via cruise missile.

ICBMs are probably obsolete now due to space weapons. I’d bet money that any unannounced space launch would be shot down immediately these days.

We can blow up rogue missiles but we can’t prohibit planes from flying 500 miles from our shore.

They used to fly those same bombers (possibly literally those same bombers) closer than 40 miles from the east coast when I was a kid (in the 1970s).

They would do it as a game, to test the intercept response time for the Navy and Air Force.

They'd fly in too close to the shore on their way to Cuba (or wherever they were going) and jets would scramble out of Oceana NAS, Norfolk NAS, Langley AFB, etc. to escort them back out to international air space.

I’m guessing that this thrills the hordes of FRussians that have infested this forum.

Their planes are really bad at staying in the air and not crashing.

International waters is 12 miles off the coast. Thus far and as far as the general public knows, they have not breached U.S. waters/air space. Only for fishing vessels is the 200 mile limit

They are simply testing our response time. No need to get upset until they breach our national waters/air space but when they do let’s hope that Obemba responds accordingly and shoots them down with overkill.

But if we had the political will, we have technology that could cause them to have "accidents"...

That’s a wimpy threat. Did we reply with, “Hope you enjoy our fireworks”?
