Republican Women Meet in Phoenix Sept. 10-13
PHOENIX, Ariz. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will address the 38th biennial convention of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 12. The NFRW convention, which is expected to draw about 1,300 Republican women leaders from across the nation, is set for Sept. 10-13 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.
The NFRW is inviting Republican presidential candidates to address the convention and earlier this month announced Carly Fiorina as the headline speaker at the convention opening. National pollster Kellyanne Conway and the polling company will conduct the NFRW presidential straw poll during the event.
To request credentials or more information, contact Lisa Ziriax, NFRW communications director, at 405-596-3873 or communications@nfrw.org. Additional information is available at www.nfrw.org/convention-phoenix.
Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation, making it one of the largest womens political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
Interesting. Dropped out of our local Texas Republican Women’s Group after eight years of membership because of their strong support of the Chamber of Commerce, NFRW, Texas Federation of Republican Women in Austin and RINO’s like John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison, our other RINO Senator that was replaced by Cruz. Like most women’s groups they are really into committees, meetings, process and structure instead of qualifications of candidates, preferring to go along to get along. Really surprised they didn’t ask Jeb to speak. Seems to be a whole lot of support for all things Bush within the state political system, including George P. who was elected as Land Commissioner in the last election.
