When I was with GE Transportation the company was promoting a push for "in country, for country" production. They wanted to sell locomotives to the Chinese, and just make them there in China.

I saw right through it... they wanted to establish production in China to sell everywhere, including here.

Thanks, I bought one of their refrig’s and it only lasted a month. For the younger guys If you buy a washer (any brand) and dryer, make sure you can’t lift it with one hand, lol. Otherwise it will dance it’s heart out for the rest of it’s short life. You may have to tie it down with a jet engine or a Chevy transmission to keep it from walking away.
