Sorry but this is a bit too close to Kristalnacht. The night of broken glass. Hope you aren't offended but I was so taken aback with your title I nearly didn't read the comment.

That's all ?!

I would crawl for days and hundreds of miles over broken glass, with both legs broken, after being malnurished for months, running a 106 degree fever, body riddled with bullet holes, while tied to a locomotive (with the brakes on), going headlong into gale force winds, in sub freezing temperatures, to vote and end the 8 year nightmare.

Ummm...I think I have you beat. You are just willing to endure pain and hardship. I face real danger in order to vote. My polling place is a Jewish Synagogue!

LOL!!!

The lack of access was overlooked and I grant you the victory. [8^)

However, I would like to point out that the Synagogue, although located just outside Walt Disney World, has a mosque across the street! Need I say more?

My polling place is a Jewish Synagogue!

Mine is the 92nd St. Y in Manhattan - the secular equivalent.

BTW, as I am still a registered Democrat due to the lack of important GOP primaries here, I hereby declare myself a Broken Glass Democrat, who will go to the polls come hell or high water to keep JH-Hillary out of the US Senate.

If G.W. is elected and promptly designates as A.G. such a man as David Schippers, Clintons/Gore and company will have a night of shattered dreams and I look for all Hell to break loose. If only Americans were more familiar with mid-'30's Nazi and Stalinist history.

Come on!
You can do better than that. This doesn't even make sense. If you want to insult me, you're going to do a lot better than this pathetic effort. You could at least be clever, funny or both.

Try again or go away!

We are at a point in our own history where only one version may written in the future. If it won't be tv, the vast majority of Americans will never see it. Another Night of the Long Knives will be inevitable.

I am totally amazed at the number of people who profess to be willing to undergo much damage to their bodies in order to pull the lever for a man who will do only marginally less damage to their rights than the other fellow.

We have sunk so low that a socialist (Bush) is looking good as a choice.

Ah ... well. That was easy.

I wouldn't think of not voting. Unfortunately (I guess), it's imperative my vote comport with my conscience.

I intend to vote, as well. My vote will also be in accord with my conscience, and that will be directed by determining which candidate(s) will actually uphold the Constitution and protect my rights. And not just SOME of my rights and PART of the Constitution, either.

In other words, I could not possibly vote for Bush, because he simply isn't willing to stand up for the Constitution or my rights as a citizen.

Lol!!! (A good laugh ... until I cry, anyway.)

Not after Clinton's managed to plumped the pillows for Bush during this time of Palestinian and Mid-East unrest.

Refresh our memory....was the Broken Glass term original from you with this post?

Yes, it was. As I remember, I had been reading about some clymer in the State Dept. referring to 17 dead shipmates as not being equal to 100+ dead palestinians.
It was an instant case of "FLAME ON !"
So I did. The phase came to me as I was typing.

Garde la Foi! Nous nous sommes l'assistance que arrivée prochain!

Some lyrics from Walking on Broken Glass by Annie Lennox

So take me from the wreckage, (aka, the treasonous Clinton/Gore Regime)
Save me from the blast, (i.e., the bombing of the U. S. S. Cole)
Lift me up and take me back, (to a Bush administration)
Don't let me keep on walking ...
Walking on broken glass.

Walking on ... walking on broken glass.

Walking on ... walking on broken glass.
