>>Those who are not committing crimes could find legal status under a Trump administration

Note that he said “could”. This is not “should”, “will”, or “might”. He was on CNN (big mistake) and told them nothing of substance in this case. Remember that their (the Progs of the GOP, Democrat party, and the media) is to convince us to throw Trump on the RINO discard pile before the first debate so the real RINOs will have a chance.

Legal status does not mean citizenship. If you read carefully, Trump is saying we would keep the number we need and give them the legal right to WORK here provided they obey our laws and do what they’re supposed to do.

The knee-jerk reaction of many is to start bellowing about flip flopping when the words aren’t mass deportation (which, is unrealistic and would be economically impossible.) Please get real.

Trump is the only candidate who dares to speak the truth. The reasons that he can are sad. The fact that he’s the only one who dares is sad. But facts are facts.

He might change his mind....I know when I lived in PA...there was an article written on him how he hired ‘immigrants’ to work for him, and while they worked, they were helped by his foundation to gain citizenship...this could be what his plan is....

When it comes to what someone, such as Trump, or Cruz says, I don't trust the MSM, they don't ‘report’ the news or a story, they ‘make up’ the news or a story....

I find that reading every ones opinion on here (FR) is more accurate than the ‘news’ we have feelings and when we write on a subject you can see what the person is saying better...

MSM is so corrupt and if they don't ‘make the news happen’ then they can't make us ‘believe’ it....it was better when they would just report it...

Somebody should tell Trump you move toward the center AfTER
you win the nomination, not before.

I was enjoying some of the things Trump said and illegal immigration.

This is not one of them.

Should be no surprise to anyone who did not willfully choose to ignore Trump’s record. He made similar comments in 2012.

If you want a pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-amnesty, pro-socialiazed medicine, pro-emminent domain seizures based solely on increased tax revenue candidate, by all means vote for Trump.

Personally, I want someone who is the opposite of all that, and has consistently demonstrated it.

DT- “The Republican Party will continue to lose presidential elections if it comes across as mean-spirited and unwelcoming toward people of color, Donald Trump tells Newsmax.

Whether intended or not, comments and policies of Mitt Romney and other Republican candidates during this election were seen by Hispanics and Asians as hostile to them, Trump says.

“Republicans didn’t have anything going for them with respect to Latinos and with respect to Asians,” the billionaire developer says.

“The Democrats didn’t have a policy for dealing with illegal immigrants, but what they did have going for them is they weren’t mean-spirited about it,” Trump says. “They didn’t know what the policy was, but what they were is they were kind.”

Romney’s solution of “self deportation” for illegal aliens made no sense and suggested that Republicans do not care about Hispanics in general, Trump says.

“He had a crazy policy of self deportation which was maniacal,” Trump says. “It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote,” Trump notes. “He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country.”

The GOP has to develop a comprehensive policy “to take care of this incredible problem that we have with respect to immigration, with respect to people wanting to be wonderful productive citizens of this country,” Trump says.”

This interview took place July 14th. Never recall the same stories being regurgitated so often as with Trump. Maybe some other enterprizing columnist will rewrite the McCain tiff as if it just happened this week.

Dana Bash interviews Donald Trump

We'll see how Trump's stance on this issue shapes up when he releases his updated book Thursday and begins to provide more written policies rather than shooting from the hip when interviewed by these media hacks.

Cruz is who we need.
¡Yeb! is what’s been planned for us.
I’d still rather Trump than ¡Yeb!

¡Yeb! is promising us more colonization, Trump is still talking less.

You’re probably going to be voting without selecting a candidate for president; nobody is going to actively seek to remove our next generation of taxpayers/consumers of government services (from either party).

We are twenty plus years past any president enforcing immigration law.

Donald Trump says as president he would ultimately give some illegal immigrants legal status and isn't ruling out a pathway to citizenship, CNN reports.

Amnesty Don.

Just another liar running for office. Can we PLEASE get a candidate who at least doesn't lie to us? Is that too much to ask? I mean, I don't want to break 100 or 200-year-old traditions or anything, but I could stand to see that one broken.

Wow, that almost gives the impression that Donald Trump does not have any solid political convictions, like he just says what he thinks people want to hear to make him popular. Weird.

Aww crap is right.

The problem with illegals is as soon as they become legal they move away from low pay jobs in hotels and into the mainstream. Which means the hotel industry and agribusiness needs to constantly be bringing in new groups of illegals to feed their businesses. And American citizens are set up to compete with people willing to work for slave wages.

The solution is to import millions of people from India willing to write for major MSM outlets for ten bucks an hour...

That would finally get the sympathy from the press...
