Prime Minister Stephen Harper fired the starting pistol Sunday for an 11-week political marathon that will end Oct. 19, when voters decide whether he deserves a fourth straight mandate.

Harper met with Gov. Gen. David Johnston at Rideau Hall Sunday morning and asked for the dissolution of Parliament to make way for the election. Soon after, he emerged to confirm that the race is formally underway.

Not against the Liberals or NDP directly, but The Media Party. How appropriate, same as in the United States.

Look for Obama’s proxies to go all out to bring down Harper. Obama wants another leftist to end the comparison of a relatively conservative Canada and a mad dash to socialism USA. Harper has also dared to mildly criticize Obama’s energy policies.

Canada under Harper, Israel’s last friend. Except for some of the Sunni Arabs. The world is nuts.

From the article ...

Harper was first elected with a minority in 2006 and then re-elected with another minority in 2008. He secured his goal of a majority government in 2011 and has spent the last four years putting his stamp on the country — with lower taxes, a tough law-and-order agenda, and a foreign policy that embraces Israel and castigates Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

That's my boy !

I always laugh when some guys get this idea in their heads of what lesbians are. They’re thinking two hot well built blondes getting it on. Nope. What they are is Kathleen Wynne.
