I was just thinking about how W let the media define him, his actions and how that marginalized the conservative movement to almost nothing. He never fought back, kept trying the new tone crap until he was totally destroyed. Trump would never have allowed that.

W is a good man. But he let the MSM pummel him bloody for 6+ years in office. That’s why Trump is so appealing to many, I believe.

In retrospect, I don't know how a man this low-key and submissive was ever elected as POTUS.

Since leaving office, the Clintons have built a political empire. This clown is sitting in jury duty. Quite a contrast.

Since he left office, he's been completely off the radar.

Complain about Bill and Hillary all you want, but they are activists. They work their asses off. They're movers and shakers. Leaders. They advance their cause. They've been out of the White House for 15 years and haven't slowed down. Sure, everything they do is criminal, but at least they're actively engaged.

Bush has been in hiding for the past 6 years. That's probably a good thing.

“Can we say it is Bush’s fault we got Obama?”

Bush set the table.

Obama served the meal.

Well said. Well said indeed.

not picked to serve as a juror. not surprising

His mere presence woudl exert too great an influence, either negative or positive, whether he wanted to or not.

I thought he was a good man the first term. The second term, not so much. Today, his true colors are showing and they aren’t pretty.

W. Bush and Perry would be great next door neighbors.
However as POTUS, we need a trained killer.

Good grief.

You just wasted a chunk of your life on that worthless screed.

Kudos to W for setting a good example today.

Back when I lived in Dallas, it was $6. And the parking may have been more. Certainly wasn’t a break-even proposition.

Mr. Bush is a good man, with more class and humanity in his pinky than the current occupiers of the White House have collectively. That said, he was a disappointing president, which has now led into the total destruction of America as a nation. A stronger Bush would have left the infrastructure behind to prevent some of the damage.

I think it was the fault of the RNC and GOPe, as they pushed two lousy candidates, McCain and Romney, on the voters.

I think people tend to forget that the Dems ruled the House and Senate during Dubya’s last two years, with power to override vetos. That’s when a lot of bad legislation was passed.

Flip it over... People are always talking about what a good job and financial climate we had during Clinton’s time and give HIM the credit. They overlook the fact that the last SIX years of Clinton was basically ruled by the GOP having total control of the Congress, and it was the GOP that drove the legislation.
