HARRISBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- Sources tell Action News that Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will be charged Thursday after an ongoing investigation into a grand jury leak.

The exact charges are not yet known.

The investigation centered on whether Kane had a role in disclosing information about a 2009 grand jury investigation to the Philadelphia Daily News last year.

A grand jury recommended in December that Kane be charged for engaging in a cover-up and lying about her role in the leak.

The grand jury's allegations were referred to Montomgery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.

No mention of party affiliation so I'm inclined to think she's a DemocRAT.

On the other hand, since when are DemocRATS prosecuted for breaking laws?

Yep. Democrat.

Had she been a Republican, the headline would have been “REPUBLICAN AG SNARED IN CORRUPTION PROBE, CHARGED”.

Not that I see a dime’s worth of difference between GOPe and Democrat at the national level, but at more local levels it may still make a difference.

They DID mention her party, in the very last paragraph. You’re supposed to be grateful that they even knew it.

Nice gal. Nice family. Yeah...

That said, if you want to prosecute for leaks PA, you might want to look at the PA OAG leaks back around say 2011. You remember - when Sara Ganim f***ed T** **rb**t for the most ridiculous Pulitzer Prize ever.

Just sayin’...

Party affiliation not mentioned until the LAST sentence of the article. Dead give away that it wasn't a Republican. See that is what is called media bias. Had it been a Republican AG the party affiliation would have been mentioned in the Head Line as well as at least Four Times int he first few sentences. Like such: SOURCES: PA. ATTORNEY GENERAL KATHLEEN KANE TO BE CHARGED ON THURSDAY HARRISBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- Sources tell Action News that the Republican Pennsylvania Attorney General Blankety Blank (R) Philadelphia, will be charged Thursday after an ongoing investigation into a grand jury leak by the Republican AG. The exact charges against the Republican are not yet known. The investigation centered on whether the Republican Attorney General Ms. Blank had a role in disclosing information about a 2009 grand jury investigation to the Philadelphia Daily News last year. A grand jury recommended in December that the Republican be charged for engaging in a cover-up and lying about her role in the leak. See that is how media bias works.

Kane was part of George Soros, Secretary of State Project, that was started after the 2000 elections in order to slant the vote controlling slots nationwide toward the criminal party....in case there was another national election that was close in vote count, This way, the Democrats would have one of their own in the AG slot to turn a blind eye to voter fraud.

Kane was just such a leftist that she could not contain her arrogance and abuse of power very long after being elected.

This is how liberals play the long game of positioning people and controlling the chess board.

The charges against Kane are:

Perjury, obstruction administration of law or other governmental function, official oppression, criminal conspiracy, and false swearing, Ferman said in a news release.
