Trump and Fox said to be in talks over Monday interview
CNN ^

Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.

Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week's GOP debate.

It is "highly unlikely" Trump would appear at 9 p.m. with host Megyn Kelly, the source said, and that's probably an understatement. Trump has repeatedly and personally insulted Kelly in recent days.

But talks are underway about a Trump interview with another prime time host, like Sean Hannity, the source said, adding that nothing had been confirmed as of Monday morning.

In the meantime, Fox has dramatically ratcheted down its coverage of Trump. It hasn't covered Trump's criticisms of Kelly and the two other debate moderators, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier.

Trump's most recent tweet about Fox came on Sunday afternoon: "It amazes me that other networks seem to treat me so much better than Fox News. I brought them the biggest ratings in history, and I get zip!"

This is a true clash of titans. Fox News is the favored network of Republicans, and Trump is the Republican campaign front-runner.

Trump should insist on an apology by Fox first - not for him, but for all of us. We were entitled to a legitimate debate and not just a hack job.

Here’s what is bothering me...Fox’s treatment of Trump, and Megyn’s attitude toward Trump, are a big story but not the ENTIRE story of the poor job of moderation. All three Fox people were horrible, and pretty much towards everybody in one way or another. Either by gotcha questions or rarely asking them a question.

And Trump marks off another day of the calendar where none of the GOPe approved candidates can get heard over the press gasping about Trump acting like Trump.

Trump is shaking down Fox.

Needs to happen - with the Leftist Murdoch kid now running Faux, there's no turning back for the network now.

You pick a side, you're along for the ride.

here’s the questions:

Mr. Trump, surely you can understand why womens are upset that because you said that Kelly had blood coming out of her eyes, you obviously meant she was on her period right. You can understand that right?

Hannity would be a good choice.

He breaks out the knee-pads for any Republican.

Greta would be my number one choice. I still think she would have done a much better job than Megyn. Right now Megyn is just caught up with being famous.

You pick a side, you're along for the ride.

I like that one, OldSarge.

Trump should not go on Faux for a little while.

The fallout from this weekend and Thursday night is just beginning to crystallize.

Let Faux stew in it for awhile.

Trump does not need them--they need him.

Please Trump, take a break from FOX and let them deal with the ratings

Take a real stand against their arrogance
