George Will: Guardian of The GOP “Establishment”
rinotracker.us ^ | 8/23/15

Posted on 08/23/2015 6:37:14 AM PDT by cotton1706

It is difficult to determine wither George Will has remained within the confines of the GOP “Establishment” for so long that he actually believes what he writes, or if he’s so steeped in conceit and self-absorption that he’s convinced he can alter reality by the sheer power of his baseless assertions. In either case, it is glaringly apparent that he and his kind have completely lost touch with the nation that surrounds them. And in the face of a Tsunami of grassroots rejection of the D.C status quo (as epitomized by the meteoric political rise of Donald Trump), they flail desperately as they seek to maintain their place at the epicenter of “politics as usual.”

Will’s consuming arrogance literally drips from every line of this piece. Starting with his indictment of small-town America, not as the homeland of those people who made the nation great, but as a crude place where mindless loudmouths congregate at the local bars to parade their ignorance. Perhaps it would surprise Mr. Will to find that those people at the bars and coffee shops across this land are the same ones who planted the crops, built the bridges, and died in the wars so that he and his erudite cohorts could bask in their ease, comfort, and safety as they espouse their insipid worldviews.

Admittedly, Donald Trump has changed his positions on several key issues, and the genuineness of those changes needs to be carefully assessed. However, out here in the hinterlands, the peasantry (that’s you and me) have been wondering just how dismal Barack Obama might make things before people begin waking up to the scope of the damage. Should we then unilaterally condemn someone like Trump for apparently having undergone just such an awakening?

The GOP establishment are all employees of The Cheap Labor Express. Their job has been to prevent the citizens from getting any border or interior enforcement of our immigration laws.
Some employees of The Cheap Labor Express also work in The Ministry Of Propaganda, such as George Will. Faux News is a wholly owned subsidiary.

SNL's George F. Will's Sport Machine.

It really nails his pomposity and phoniness, and ends with:

Tommy Lasorda: Throw the ball! Throw the ball!

[ audience joins in chants of "Throw the ball!", as George, confusedly, tries to think of what to do. Overcome by the crowd, he releases the ball weakly, landing only a few feet in front of him. Everyone laughs, and George, embarrassed, breaks into a weak run and leaves the studio. ]

Sam Donaldson: [ pointing ] He's getting away!

[ Tommy Lasorda and Mike Schmidt chase George, leaving Studio 8H and running into the hallway.]

Not difficult at all. It is both, with heavy emphasis on the former; after all, why did he rail so heavily against Reagan in 1976, calling for the party to be “cleansed” of conservatives (yes, 39 years ago)?
We are in an ideological war. From a Marxist viewpoint, an atheistic mind is already three-fourths conquered.

The Naked Communist, Chapter 12
In addition to that, Will tries to send the notion of a GOP Establishment down the memory hole. He is a liberal through and through and far beyond merely ¾-conquered by Marxism.

Never! Never trust the words of some pompous putz in a bow tie!

Secondly, THERE ARE NO CONSERVATIVES WHO WORK FOR WASHINGTON POST! Additionally, just because the establishment GOP Fox chooses to have him air his pompous establishment bile, that does not make him ‘conservative’, ‘conservative-leaning’, or anywhere near ‘conservative’ either.

In my opinion, he is part of what brought us from the days of Reagan to the pitiful miasma we have today. If I ever got to see him in person, I’d punch him in his Bow Tie as hard as I could.

George Will Purposefully ignores Reality. He advocates for a Lawless Nation, or better yet a nation where laws are selective to classes of people at the whims of a few... Yes it is GOOD the GOP will be destroyed for if they cannot Stand for the Law and their own party platform why should it exist to begin with???

The Enemy is within and until we deal with that Enemy we will Never be able to Deal with the Enemy’s outside the Nation!

Just for starters read page 25 “The Rule of Law: Legal Immigration” https://cdn.gop.com/docs/2012GOPPlatform.pdf

Maybe the GOP establishment better go back to school and learn what THEIR PLATFORM SAYS what they Stand FOR!!! Maybe there are many in party positions that should be REMOVED for their rebellious deeds and Words...

I’m for Ted Cruz. I think he’s the most conservative one running. Having said that, if I wind up voting for Trump, it will be because it is the closest thing to butt-stroking Will, Myth Romney, the whole GOP-e cabal, in the face with an M1 Garand.

I wonder what Will’s prepping plans are?

Trouble is coming & his residence behind gates won’t be enough to survive on.

If George Will is owned, then it stands to reason that Scott Walker might be also, since Will’s wife is a highly placed operative in the Walker campaign...something Will doesn’t remind us of nearly enough as he badmouths Donald Trump.

The weekly spectacle of candidate roulette, or whatever Fox News calls it, is fingers on the chalkboard for me. They have been Bush, period, from the beginning. They have barely acknowledged the existence of anyone else, and even those are safe mini-Bushes for the most part.

I’m not voting for Bush. I hope these folks know that. He’s weak. He’s the dynasty flavor of the month....with Hillary the other side of that same coin.

The establishment thought they could nominate ¡Yeb! the same way they nominated Romney and McCain.
They don’t really care if we vote for Bush in Nov.
They only care about making sure we can’t elect anyone who would stop the colonization/cheap labor importation/invasion.
Fox is an establishment propaganda organ.
They always tilt toward the Cheap Labor Express position.

I’ve had suspicions about Walker from the start. He also hired Brad Dayspring who was involved in the MS fiasco where they used Democrats to defeat McDaniel in the run-off to save Cochran.

And so the talking heads of the beltway elite hate Trump because Trump has taken the contrived, empty freak show of American politics, that could put a nothing like Obama in the White House, and turned it around so that a gaudy, braggadocio, reality TV star with ridiculous hair is now a statesman. They hate Trump, because he hijacked their sacred political system that these high priests have lauded over for years with their smug insight and erudite speech; that this casino carney barker, with a squirrel on his head standing next to a scantily clad bimbo could make them look like utter fools. He’s driving the machine better than they ever could, and he’s got a free buffet, what do you got?!

I have long since forgone the option of watching candidate interviews on TV. The ability to spar with a media weenie is perhaps a virtue, but an uninteresting one in the long run.

This thread is epic! My favorite so far is calling Gorgeous George a “pompous putz with a bowtie.” And let's not forget Georgey Porgey Will also has a dead squirrel on his head. At least the squirrel on Trump's head is alive and kicking!

Georgie Porgie, Puddin’ and Pie, (Ivy League Elite pampered snob)

Kissed the girls and made them cry, (kisses up to Obama and The DC Insiders, they pretend to like him)

When the boys came out to play (Cruz and Trump show up)

Georgie Porgie ran away. (Little Georgie starts crying, his makeup smears, he throws a hissy fit, runs away, his toupee flies off.)
