Thwarted train gunman Ayoub El Khazzani has laughed at accusations he was trying to carry out a terrorist attack on the Amsterdam to Paris express, his lawyer has claimed.
Morocco-born El Khazzani, 26, says he does not see why his actions on the Thalys train on Friday have caused such an outcry and insisted that he was only interested in 'robbing the passengers'.
His lawyer, Sophie David, said the gunman appeared 'very, very thin and very haggard' when she met with him at a police station in Arras, northern France.
Meanwhile, the suspect's father defended him as a 'good boy' today, and insisted that he would never want to kill anyone...

Actually, while the claim he found a full-auto AK-47 on a children’s playground is QUITE believable, I think the story is false.
What REALLY happened was, on a day with beaming sunshine and soft pink clouds made out of sugar, a fuzzy wuzzy widdle bunny wabbit hopped over with the AK-47 strapped to it’s back with golden chains. Butterflies surrounded them as birds with beautiful colors sat on nearby branches and tweeted out a beautiful melody. Roses bloomed nearby, and amidst the fragrant petals, 7.62x39 rounds were presented next to the pistils. A gorgeous young fawn hopped up with a few AK-47 30 round magazines in her mouth.
DON’T LAUGH! THIS IS WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!
