The US military is drawing plans for a potential "comprehensive attack" against Iran as President Barack Obama has threatened to "act militarily" if Tehran violates the recent nuclear agreement, says a report.
A possible military action would involve a wave of attacks spearheaded by the 30,000-pound bunker buster known as the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, according to two senior US military officers familiar with the planning, who spoke to USA Today on condition of anonymity.
The attack would be aimed at targeting Iran's "air defenses" and its "deeply buried nuclear facilities," one officer said.

Obama doesn’t care what they do, he just didn’t expect them to broadcast it.
The Pentagon has always had people drawing up plans for all sorts of contingencies. If they didn’t already have a dozen plans for Iran they eould have been derelict in their duties.
Oh Good! Let’s tell them in advance what we are going to do and how we intend to do it so they can be prepared. Nothing wrong with that type of military planning to catch them off guard!! (SARC)

First, the Pentagon is ALWAYS drawing up attack plans....over and over again....and against some surprising nations.
Second, if Obama ever attacked Iran, we would drop weapons and supplies to them more than bombs on them....just like ISIS.

The secret plans to attack Israel if they actually try to prevent Iran from going nuclear are another story.

The military makes these plans as a matter of routine. The fact that a plan exists says nothing about the political situation, and war is a political act.
