Donald Trump: Tax the rich more [and middle class less]
Gant Daily ^ | Aug 27 2015 | CNN

Donald Trump is finally showing us more of his economic plan beyond the “Make America Great Again” slogan on his red hat.

America has now learned:

— He wants to tax the rich more and the middle class less.

— He wants to lower corporate taxes.

— He wants to cut government spending and stop raising the debt ceiling.

“The hedge fund people make a lot of money and they pay very little tax,” Trump said in an interview Wednesday with Bloomberg. “I want to lower taxes for the middle class.”

Plank #2 of the Communist Manifesto calls for a heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

I don’t want to tax anyone more.

I don’t want to give the damned government anymore money.

Unless its for a border wall and agents and weapons to patrol it.

Marx also loved Free Trade:

But, in general, the protective system of our day is conservative, while the free trade system is destructive. It breaks up old nationalities and pushes the antagonism of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie to the extreme point. In a word, the free trade system hastens the social revolution. It is in this revolutionary sense alone, gentlemen, that I vote in favor of free trade.

Reducing debt by making rich pay more
is very conservative fiscal policy.

Middle class is under stress and can use tax reduction.
Ultra Rich (incomes over million dollars per year) can pay a bit more without much pain.

However spending cuts must be part of that package.
Tax increases without spending cuts is bad policy.

Trump is a moron on the economic effects of tax policy. Furthermore, it is immoral, whether the thief is an individual or the government, to steal 50% or more of a free person’s property.

You can’t raise taxes on job creators and entrepreneurs and expect to produce economic growth and grow our GDP. Geez.

The tax plan in his book is just fine with me:

$30,000 per year will pay 1 percent in federal income taxes
$30,000 to $100,000 will pay5 percent
$100,000 to $1 million will pay 10 percent
$1 million or above will pay 15 percent

It’s still ‘progressive’ to make the liberals happy, but it’s also great for everyone, though the $1m and up people will end up probably paying more. I’m hoping this gets rid of the payroll tax and rolls it into the income tax, since it’s a sham to tax it separately anyway.

— He wants to tax the rich more and the middle class less.

According to his tax plan he wants to tax the rich less and tax the middle class more.

— He wants to lower corporate taxes.

I believe he wants to eliminate corporate income taxes, along with capital gains taxes and inheritance taxes.

— He wants to cut government spending and stop raising the debt ceiling.

He wants to increase spending on the military and veterans, and keep social security and Medicare the way they are. In fact I can't think of any spending he's actually suggested cutting.

So tax small business and cut corporate? Sounds straight out of the Chamber of Commerce.

“Marx also loved Free Trade:”

I have been assured by some on this site that I have an inferior understanding of everything because I don’t agree with free trade. I love trade, everybody loves trade, we all need trade, trade makes life much better, trade makes us all more prosperous. But, many people have been hoodwinked into believing that the trade I just mentioned means free trade. Japan reached economic heights in the 60s and 70s using trade restrictions to protect their manufacturing. China still uses trade restrictions. Only in America...

The communist manifesto did not see the rich lib gentries as being the main instigators of socialism or the country club conservatives as being so feckless or treacherous to our side. This especially happened since we lower their taxes several times over the past thirty years. If they are going to let in all of those immigrants to impoverish the rest of us and spend all of the money they spend or print the lies that they do in their media I say tax them. No body here does not think rich liberals should not pay their taxes and if the country clubbers are gong to shell out I say let them shell out.

Oh yeah, Trump’s plan sounds just like Reaganomics, NOT!

Reagan’s Speech 1981 (The Standard)

I don’t envision the Donald ever giving a speech in content or quality such as this, but I sure as heck could see Ted Cruz give one.

Time to wake up on the Trump charlatan.

The middle class is where the money is. There aren’t enough super rich to tax for all our current entitlements - period.

And whenever someone tells you they’re going to increase taxes on the wealthy it always, without fail, hits the middle class.

So in short. No thank you.

Shrink government and lower taxes.

Japan is bankrupt.

China is probably bankrupt.

Protectionism didn’t save them.

America is trying hard to be bankrupt and probably is. Japan got there first.

You answer sound very similar to:

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need”

Sound familiar to you?
