Notice the article did not mention any candidates had signed it.
This appears to be a trial balloon intended to determine how GOP
voters react.

The RNC hierarchy is panicking big-time because of Trump.
It's functioning now in full knee-jerk-reaction mode which is when mistakes are made.
This idiotic pledge thing embarrasses me as a Republican. It's biased, it's degrading to ALL the candidates, it's childish, it's stupid....and believe me, it's playing with fire in a variety of scenarios, all of them bad.
Impeach Reince Priebus....and I'm dead serious.

Why would anyone want to sign a pledge regarding the possibility of a Jeb or Mitt getting in.
Better they pledge to support the Republican voters and others betrayed by party elites.
