My extended family are all black Democrats who think I've been duped, hoodwinked, hypnotized, or otherwise fooled into joining the 'other side'. Most of them won't even talk to me anymore because they think I'm a 'traitor'.

Carson was never going to get more than about 10% of the black vote. Skin color means nothing if your politics are 'wrong'.
