It has been widely reported that Hillary Clintons faltering presidential campaign has started the fall season with new efforts to bring spontaneity to a candidacy that sometimes seems wooden and overly cautious.
To test this new effort, here are some new questions pertaining to an old issue about the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation and the all-important IRS Form 990.
There is no doubt that just asking these questions will make Hillary squirm because the answers have the potential to derail her efforts to become our nations first female president.
If you recall, back in April of this year there were days of explosive headlines after Reuters reviewed the Clinton Foundations 990 forms and found errors in how they reported donations from governments.
As a result, a Clinton Foundation spokesman said, We are prioritizing an external review to ensure the accuracy of the 990s from 2010, 2011 and 2012 and expect to refile when the review is completed.
In other words, Oops, you caught us cooking the books; sorry about that.
Now, five months later, perhaps it is time to revisit the Form 990 question and ask Hillary Clinton, who is listed as a director of the foundation, when her foundation will refile these important forms with the IRS.
You may be asking, What is IRS Form 990, and why is it so important?
Form 990 provides an overview of a nonprofit organizations activities, along with detailed financial information about revenues and donors. The form is needed to justify an organizations maintaining its tax-exempt status. It must be filed annually.
The Clinton Foundations revised 990s should provide details about the exact amount of funds that foreign governments contributed to the foundation while Mrs. Clinton was secretary of state. Amazingly, this information about the breakdown of foreign-government funding was omitted from the 990s for the three years in question.
The political reality is that the longer the foundation waits to refile the 990s the more the forms will be highly scrutinized and entangled in the presidential campaign.
These refiled 990s have the potential to be political dynamite setting off new allegations of pay to play and influence buying with Hillarys State Department, raising once again the frequently asked question whether she can be trusted to be president of the United States.
#share#Another question for Mrs. Clinton, as a foundation director: When will Form 990 be filed for the year 2014?
On the Clinton Foundation website, the original 990s stop at 2013.
Since this IRS form is supposed to be filed annually, one would think that the 990 for 2014 would be available by September 2015, especially since one of the foundations directors happens to be running for president and would want to set an example for all Americans by following IRS rules.
Given that Hillary was laying the groundwork for her presidential run in 2014, Form 990 for that year should be chock-full of interesting donor information for the media and her political opponents to dissect.
A related question that Mrs. Clinton should be asked is: What will become of the Clinton Foundation if she should be elected? For example, will Bill Clinton, while living in the White House, be soliciting contributions from high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and governments that conceivably could be paying to do business with the Clinton administration?
Finally, in the five months that have elapsed since the foundation said it was going to refile its 990s, has the IRS been pressuring the foundation for the revised forms and asking when they plan on filing the 990 for 2014?
We do not know what kind of relationship the foundation has with the IRS, but it was Reuters, a foreign news organization, that found the problems with past years 990s.
With the Clintons history, we know that rules are only for little people. Now, do the rules for honest and timely filings of IRS Form 990 apply only to little organizations?

Seriously? Yawn! Wake me when they issue some indictments and send some US Marshals out. Looks like I’ll get a long nap.
Since it’s CNN I don’t believe their hypothetical.
The IRS will want these forms no later than November 15, 2016.
Oh, good. Looking forward to another round of:
I didn’t do it...
Everything I did was allowed, and, besides, everybody else does it, too...
There was nothing illegal about what I did...
What difference, at this point, does it make?
This is just a diversion to try to derail my campaign...
Ok, although what I did was permitted, I didn’t know it was illegal at the time...
I wasn’t thinking and was real busy. Plus, I had a bad headache...
I’ve instructed my ‘people’ to cooperate fully and promptly..
Although I have no reason to apologize, I’ll issue an insincere apology anyway...
I made a mistake. It was a poor decision. I take full responsibility...
Now, leave me alone so that I can save the country from Republican terrorists!
What humanitarian activities has the Clinton Foundation funded?
If the Foundation had been effective in helping people throughout the hundreds of devastated areas of the world - Clinton would have fed the media stories of all the wonderful work.
Nothing to report!!!
Just raking in the bucks for Bill, Hill and Chelsea.
If a thousand people stood outside the IRS with proof the Clinton Foundation was cooking the books, the IRS would tape newspapers over the windows so no one could see... Corrupt liberal elites cover for each other...
The Clinton Foundation slush fund may get her jail time and probably nothing else will.
An important lesson from the Lewinski affair: The Clintons have the “dirt” on all the top dogs in Washington.
The Rule of the Clinton Foundation seems to be ..
" It is easier to seek forgiveness .. , than it is to get permission."
which is a philosophy from the '70's !!
Hildabeast is still locked in a TIME WARP " of the 70's !!
It certainly looks like you will be challenging the record of Rip Van Winkle.
"person holding any office of profit or trust under [the United States] would seem to include the Secretary of State.
- Article 1 Section 9:
- No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.
"of any kind whatever would seem to include payments to the husband of the Secretary of State and gifts to a charity over which the Secretary of State has control. Any control.
The Clinton Family SLUSH FUND is the WHOLE SCANDAL!!! THAT is what she wiped off her server....or rather the pleader of the Fifth Amendment, Hillary’s skirt licker, whatever that twerp’s name is, wiped the server!!! They ALL NEED TO BE IN PRISON!!!
The Clinton Foundation Initially “Suggested That The $31.3 Million Contribution Listed On Its Tax Return Did Not Come From A Single Donor,” Then Said “It Came From A Single Source, But Declined To Identify It.”
The $31.3 million donation, which was previously undisclosed, came from the Radcliffe Foundation run by Frank Giustra, a Canadian mining entrepreneur, who has made millions financing mining deals around the world. Mr. Giustra has become a member of Mr. Clinton’s inner circle, joining him on global trips and lending him the use of his private MD-87 jet.
For weeks, Clinton Foundation officials had suggested that the $31.3 million contribution listed on its tax return did not come from a single donor. They then said it came from a single source, but declined to identify it. Wednesday afternoon, a representative of Mr. Giustra contacted The Times and acknowledged the Radcliffe contribution.

ADDENDUM: The IRS has observed that the biggest money-laundering fraud is one foundation writing a check to another foundation-—the MO to skim off tax-free monies for themselves.
The recipient takes a cut then deposits the bulk of the donation in a secret account for the donor’s use later.
THE IRS NEEDS TO CHECK THIS OUT: To the Clintons, a position on The Clinton Foundation Board of Trustees is a good way to reward donors, their cronies, children of donors, etc.
Now according to state and federal tax laws-—trustees are not merely figureheads. By law, trustees are fiduciaries and are supposed to be advised of, then expected to oversee and sign off on the allocation of all monies donated to the Foundation.
The IRS needs to see the minutes of the Clinton Foundation meetings to determine if the Clinton trustees complied w/ state and federal tax laws.
FREEPER 9THLIFE POSTED Banks are rigorous WRT drilling into their employees the why’s and wherefores of money laundering and terrorist banking activities.
EVERY transaction — especially by those who are politically connected — is subject to scrutiny.
There is no way — categorically N.O. way — in a Patriot-Act world that anyone could have pulled off what is alleged against the Clinton Foundation. Unless it was a Clinton, acting with the express complicity of some very high-ups at some very big banks.
As always, follow the money. Every suspect transaction will have a detailed report filled out and filed. If it involves international transfers and shady characters (think Friends of Bill) each and every issue would be escalated to senior management.
The reports themselves are required to be on file for 5 years. Discussion of such reports — even their existence — is strictly controlled and generally forbidden. Yet they remain on record.
It is conceivable that suspicious activity reports were passed on to govt agencies, such as OCC and whomever else has jurisdiction, and were buried there. But some bankers still know about them.
Unless they weren’t filed....and that itself is a crime under the applicable law.
