Another prime example of gun control at its finest is the story of these two unarmed officers being gunned down by… a thug with a gun. Wait, didn’t gun control stop it? Of course not, and here is the story submitted by a reader. These two officers responded to a robbery in progress when they were ambushed by an armed man that had a warrant out for his role in a shooting and grenade attack. The two unarmed officers responded to the call to the Hattersley Estate in Mottram.

The UK has about 800 murders a year in a pop of 62m.
Public and police don’t therefore feel that we need all police to be armed.

I did read of a German lady who was going to be displaced from her apartment of 15 years because the town council had declared her complex be turned into a refugee center. WTH? Have you noticed the number of military aged male “refugees” coming across in any of the newspaper articles? Don’t see a lot of frail starving youngsters. But, maybe that’s because the press isn’t showing them.
UK police officers are armed with 50000v tasers. As well as baton, cs spray.

ah FRiend you’ve nailed me: exaggeration in the cause of humor (and the real truth for those two law enforcement officers) is no excuse!
Pity a couple of them weren’t in the hands of these officers.
