Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee rolled out leadership teams across four Southern states on Monday.
The Republican could be a serious force on March 1 in the so-called SEC Primary, named after the collegiate Southeastern Conference.
Assuming he comes out of the early states strong — namely Iowa and South Carolina, his top two targets — Huckabee is focused on amassing momentum in favorable Southern states that have jointly scheduled their primaries to increase the region’s clout.
“The early SEC primary elections are a key plank to our campaign strategy,” Huckabee said in a statement.

I grow tired of hearing of the Huckster...he’s like a boil that won’t go away.
And he’s locked down most of the key GOP elected officials in his home state of Arkansas, with support from Gov. Asa Hutchinson, Sen. John Boozman, Reps. Rick Crawford, French Hill and Bruce Westerman. Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin has a formal role in his inner circle. Also on the leadership team announced Monday: Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, Secretary of State Mark Martin, State Treasurer Dennis Milligan, Land Commissioner John Thurston and many state legislators.

I am against whoever some of these posters are for. I do not care who, I just am against them for the purpose of evening things out.
There’s a reason the public’s trust of the MSM is down to around 7%.
Besides, Cruz has already spent a lot of time doing the exact same thing only he did it w-a-y e-a-r-l-i-e-r than Huck. Huck can try to get the “leavings” and, as others have stated, it appears to be a move that would most likely draw votes away from Cruz. Huck has NO chance of being president but he’ll probably stay in till the very end to keep whatever political capital he thinks he has left.

Trump doesn't build walls---except the one with Me-hee-co. He is on the attack, all the time. My prediction is that he will sweep the south. Texas may be a fight with Cruz, but last poll had Trump way up on Ted.

I think that some of these politicians who have no chance of winning just want to appear in the public eye so that they can continue to write books, or be a talking head for a news channel.
It is a resume builder to keep your face out there for future job prospects.
