We are absolutely sure Kraut worked for Mondale and worked in the Carter administration. The DNC seems to be the only path into the DC punditry class.
Pray America wakes
[You sure Kraut and Hays are registered Repub?]
Journalists have in their contracts not to disclose their political affiliation so they don’t appear ‘bias’.
It’s not hard to figure it out though.
You know I start reading comments like I have on this thread and I just shake my head. Yes, Dr. K. did work for Mondale many years ago and, just like Reagan (you do remember him don’t you), he switched from Rat to GOP.
Dr. K. provides some pretty good analysis for the most part and he is usually right. Hell, even last night Dr. K. admitted he was wrong about Trump’s campaign and was impressed how Trump handled himself in the interview compared to earlier interviews.
Please stop posting stuff like this.
So he no longer thinks Trump is a Rodeo Clown and was wrong?
Isn’t he paid very well to be right?
He is a Rove lackey and has no idea why Trump is winning. At least he has one viewer fooled.
So true. I saw a whisp of smoke now and then and wondered...then at the debate and after, I finally recognized the flame. (Ever see a hydrogen flame? You never will, they are invisible, all you see is a shimmering of the heat, because there is no carbon to burn and cause color/light. But walk into one at an ammonia plant and you are a crispy critter.) Fox is like the hydrogen flame...just as deadly as the real thing, but invisible due to the lack of substance. Our TV viewing habits have radically changed, wouldn't have believed it 6 months ago. Amazon Echo/Pandora and Levin, Amazon Fire/OAN. (Blood pressure went down:-)
“FONZ NEWS” ??? :-)
Did the same thing in 2008 for McCain and 2012 for Romney. However the big difference was they did puff piece after puff piece for McCain/Romney. Don’t think the “Hate Trump Express” at Faux News is going to work nearly as well.
Eminent Domain issue has the same mis-used words, and “nuanced” arguments models of the “Immigration” debate.
Substitute “Illegal/Legal” with “Use/Benefit” and you get the picture.
KELO was bad law in many ways.
Public “Use” is VERY different from public “Benefit”.
Justly compensated eminent domain takings for a highway, a public school, a public hospital are part of the constitution.
Taking private property by force of law and awarding it to another private party is eminent domain abuse, more particularly “Theft”. Kelo was government theft.
There is a big difference between using emminent domain to build a public road and using it to build a private parking lot. It is this aspect that many of us object to.
I don't understand it. Attacks on Trump's (or any politician) positions are legitimate points of discussion. I absolutely disagree with Trump's take on emminent domain. On the border wall? Not so much.
Thought for a moment you were referring to some poster here.
“I absolutely disagree with Trump’s take on emminent domain. On the border wall? Not so much.”
Eminent domain isn’t costing taxpayers billions each year, as well as destroying our culture, causing crime, lowering education standards, turning border states into cesspools.
I finally escaped Mexifornia primarily because it was like living in a foreign country where whites are discriminated against. I don’t want my new home back in the US ruined too.
Eminent domain hasn’t affected my life at all yet - and probably never will.
I won’t let one small issue override a huge one.
BTW, building the wall will likely require eminent domain, ironically. And I’m all for the wall!
Oh stop the nonsense. All he does is give political analysis and he is right many more times than not.
I think you misunderstand me. Eminent domain is appropriate for things like a border fence/wall. It is the use of emenent domain for the benefit of private entities as happened in the Kelo decision that I believe is absolutely wrong and a violation of private property rights.
“FReepers used to be against Kelo-style abuse. Then Trump happened.”
Four conservative justices dissented, on Kelo.
Opposition to eminent domain for private purposes is the conservative position, period.
