//ho, as a so-called Christian, grades others on their Christianity? God knows each person’s heart,//

Actually Christians are called to judge those who claim to be fellow believers - both by their doctrine and their theology. So Christians are supposed to grade others. (I can give you bible verses for that). However, just because someone flaunts their faith (like Huck) doesn’t make them Christian in reality. Trumps policies more accurately reflect Christian values than many others including Huck who uses his so called Christianity (frankly I question the reality of Huck’s faith), as a way to get votes. That is insulting to Christ.

I am a cult deprogrammer. I analyze so called Christians and their claims all the time - to see if they line up biblically.

However, while I won’t vote for a cultist (that would make me a hypocrite). I will vote for someone who supports my Christian views and faith and Trump does that.

Interested about what you know about Carson that turns you off so.

My reasons to not vote for him are political but would like to hear the religious angle.

First off these ‘5 Biblical Qualifications’ take many of those verses out of context.

Second, according to their own list - Trump should get an “A” and some of the others “F”.

Again, this ‘guide’ is a hit piece.

Hate to see how the author of this STUPID guide hires an electrician, engineer, architect, or plumber. Some skillsets are acquired through specialized training, and years of labor. THEY require more than prayer and talk.

Donald Trump is a CEO, a manager, and a leader. He will be a great president of OUR Republic, PRO-AMNESTY Carson can speak at your church.

TRUMP is more like King David, Solomon, ISAAC, and JACOB than any of them.

SUCCESS is not sinful.
MONEY is not sinful.

Trump does not worship money, if he did, he wouldn’t be running for president.

Trump sees a mess, and wants to fix it, THIS is noble.

Don’t assume all Evangelicals or even most support Huck.

Every Evangelical I know supports Trump and thinks Huck is a fraud and not really a Christian based on his own statements.

I’ll be honest, I’m a Staten Island Italian Roman Catholic. And I barely know what that means lol.

Patient FReepers have tried to explain denominations to me even pointing out that there are different Catholic sects.

What do i know? I’ll probably die on this two cent Island.

But I know if someone believes in Christ, it’s good enough for me.

We dont have ANY time to fight amongst each other. Too many enemies.

//Interested about what you know about Carson that turns you off so.//

I have spent much of the last 2 years researching the Seventh Day Adventists and working with some ex-SDA ministries. They like the JWs and Mormons are ‘restorationists’ - they believe that the rest of Christianity are apostates and their prophet EG White, ‘restored’ early Christianity (this is very different from reformation based groups). They are very high demand (following Hassan’s BITE model) and controlling of their members - a sociological cult.

Theologically there are many issues including White’s denial of the Trinity, their rejection of Grace in favor of works based (alone) salvation, their confluence and hatred of non SDA - esp those who worship on Sunday and Catholics.

If you want some specific sources let me know or check out

Also, SDAs support and perform abortions and Carson has gone on record agreeing with that practice.

As for the hating Catholics, they should stay off Staten Island :)

And The Trinity is everything. wow again.

Although as a Catholic myself, I have my own list of grievances but the Pope wont see me :)

I shall read your link.

There are some issues there, I agree but the SDA info is solid. I was shocked after I was invited to a debate of SDA/Christians a couple of years ago by what I heard. I had been ‘on the fence’ about the SDA (like Walter Martin) until I started researching them as part of my ministry and for a theology website that I write for.

If you are on Facebook there are some very interesting debate pages.

Christianity says no such thing about Trump!

He’s been a very charitable and lifelong sober man who has prioritized and wisely raised a strong family. Huck gets an ‘A’ on greed, but Trump an ‘F’? I don’t see that. Trump acknowledges the law of the land and doesn’t judge or cast stones. No, he’s not perfect, but really, do we know that Huck is either?

How about Trump’s policies, such as strength on saving us from a Muslim attack and invasion?

" 'Christian Voting Guide' Gives Mike Huckabee 'A,' Donald Trump 'F'"

Okay -- but does it give Sanders, O'Malley, Lessig (Lessig????), Chafee and Clinton grades of 'W', 'X', 'Y' and 'Z'?

Interesting. The founding fathers REJECTED the Fundamental Orders drawn up in 1639 & created the Constitution we have known since 1787; that codifies a distinct separation between church & state. How could they have received “100%” from this “Christian Voter’s Guide”?

Sadly, most of us- of any age, have received such a paltry education (in our history, specifically) that few people know that America was not founded as a “Christian nation” & that the planters (such as the New England Puritans & the Chesapeake Anglicans) have been conflated with the “founding fathers” by persons with an agenda.

(excerpt) “To [James Madison], [the Constitution] safeguarded religious freedom for ALL citizens (emphasis mine) by eliminating the government’s voice in ecclesiastical matters. He regarded religion as a “natural right” that the governed never surrender to their governors.”
There is more- much more, in detail, at the link.

http://press.princeton.edu/chapters/i7500.html

The historical information at this link will sound VERY familiar. Most of us could probably recite it in our sleep from sheer repetition alone.

Did this ‘news’ article cause you to become fully engorged?

Ask all of those preachers and ministers who met with Trump personally with him recently, prayed with him, ask THEM what they think of Trump.

This is nothing but a hit piece and you know it.

I’m calling bullshit in the Name of the Lord.

>>I Personally dont know what’s in his heart religion wise. But i do STRONGLY think that he knows this country needs Christianity to survive, regardless of his convictions.

I agree with you. You do not need a Christian leader. You just need a leader who is committed to freedom of religion and not freedom FROM religion.

Then you need people who are committed Christians and not just cultural Christians—people who put Christ first in their life.

Rush is right, of course. I’m referring to this “christian” outfit with the guts to tell everyone how to vote. Rush has cautioned that a couple of activist nobodies with an axe to grind and a cobbled together blogsite can take on a high sounding name and appear to actually be somebody.

The headline and the article by this Russian are obviously just click bait to get clicks on their blog. Once you click on the link, you can’t progress any farther and read their stuff unless you sign onto their blog. NO THANKS!
