They missed a strike out in bottom of 4th.

It is GONE! Granderson hits one into the bullpen in rightfield.

Inside-the-park home run on the first pitch of the Royals’ first at-bat. That must have never happened before in a Series ... Or has it?

It has happened 14 times, the last time 86 years ago.
Before they had outfield fences? :)

Tom Seaver gave up a home run to the first batter he faced in game 1 of the 1969 world series...and the Met won the series!!

Mets never won Game 1 of the World Series. 1969, 1973, 1986, 2000. I hated how they lost Game 1 and 2 at home in 1986. Bad few days.

They switched the Saints Colts game off the network Sunday and never resumed it when it got close. They suck in news and sports.

I am not sure now that I think about it.
That sounds like too many.
86 years was the last time, I heard that loud and clear.

But not inside-the-park, right? What I think they said, was that this was the first lead off inside the parker. There have been others, but this was the first lead off one.
