BOGUS. Went to Trump’s twitter page. See what the Economist just published. Trump is sitting pretty. Carson in second. I believe this is different t than Romney’s polls of the last election. The establishment really does FEAR Donald Trump. And they should.
Yeah. The smaller the sample size, the greater chance Carson will take the false lead. The fix is in.
What happpened to thousands of people being polled???
A sample size of 270? With such a small number, an unscrupulous or attention seeking poster could take several polls and pick the one they want. It becomes a coin flip.
Why exactly?
We are aware that Dan Rather can lie to remove a candidate, why can we trust any source? Back in August the smart folks funding the GOPe thought Trump would simply shoot himself in the foot or that he would fade like others in the past. That turned out to be false and wishful thinking. Then recently we were informed that Rove/GOPe were going all out to remove Trump. And look what happens. We have polls mysteriously moving Trump down and Carson up when nothing has happened to change anything. Well almost nothing. We know that the Rove/ GOPe now see that Trump is a real threat that needs to be dealt with. Nothing else changed.
So, we have a track record that Dan Rather types are willing to risk their careers to stop a president. We know that Trump is finally considered a legit candidate. We know nothing has happened in recent weeks to cause Trump to lose support or for Carson to gain support. So, no. I don't need to trust this poll result if I trusted the August poll.

So true. Trump should shine tonight and Carson will look like a deer in headlights. Its time for Ben to start taking some incoming. I am tiring of him pretending he’s a serious candidate for President.
There are no Carson supporters.
Only Trump supporters that either dont want to admit to pollsters they are Trump supporters or who are not quite sure they want to support Trump because of all the nasty things the media is saying about him, but dont really like any of the alternatives, so Carson is a safe place to park while they make up their minds.
Carson supporters, like Fiorina's, are voters who want a non-politician candidate but who don't like Trump. They're not so much motivated by the thought that Carson is the best-qualified candidate to be President as by a dislike of establishment career politicians (the rest of the field) while being put off by Trump's persona and manner.
Agree with you. This is real for the filter of the sample but otherwise it’s total bullshit. Hot Air and the other media outlets are really going over the top to promote this Carson story. Has anyone noticed these big swings always occur around debate time? Last time it was Fiorina and Rubio. Now it’s Carson. If Hot Air filtered this to the 60% Reuters did, it would show Trump with a 7 point lead. Want to filter to General Election voters? Shows Trump with the lead. Very Conservative and Moderately Comservative? Trump with the lead. Unfiltered raw numbers? Trump with the lead. Basically, this is the only permutation showing Carson with a lead and Hot Air runs with it. This is a temporary blip. Trump’s overall numbers are still good, he’s not declining, his support is solid. Carson will display his utter lack of economic knowledge tonight and Trump should wipe the floor with all of them. Carson will begin to trend down again next week and Trump will settle into a 5-7 point lead nationally.

Carson is NOT ahead, anywhere. Remember when the MSM’s polls were showing Jeb ahead of everybody else and everyone on FR was shaking his or her heads because they knew absolutely no one who supported Bush?
This is just more media manipulation. My guess is they want to spread the lie that Trump is behind to get his campaign to finally spend some money on advertising.
Remember, these guys not only set the narrative, they also make mega-money off this deal. Most massive conflict of interest ever, and no one ever talks about it.

Reuters is joining the list of the desperate. They engineer a poll on the eve of the debate and expect people to take it seriously. Seriously, Trump vs. Carson? Who do they think they’re fooling? Get a grip.
Yes raise your hand if you know even one person who has expressed the slightest interest in Carson. I have not heard his name even mentioned.
I know for a fact these polls can be rigged....and these places doing the polling can make the outcome whatever they want it to be....the gop and the media knows for a fact that carson doesnt have a chance against hillary...

ALL polls are crap. The primary season is over 3 months away. These poll mean nothing at this point. Many votes will be change their mind more than once between not and next year.
