In response, Disney acknowledges it outsourced Powers’ and Perrero’s jobs to Indian workers [...]

H-1B ping. Let me know if you're not on the list and want to be added (or are and want to be removed).

Yet another reason to hate leftist homo-erotic event sponsoring Disney.

In before the Cruz bashing?

In before the Cruz bashing?

Pointing out a candidate's repeated public stand on an issue is not "bashing."

I don’t consider telling the truth as bashing. Cruz is for increased H-1B visas by 500%. That’s a fact, jack, not a bash.

Perhaps the author should look up the definition of the word "median".

Any company firing workers to hire replacement H1Bs should be required to pay the fired workers their FULL base salary for at least 10 years. AND that company should be fined out the wazoo, with the fine going into financing the fired workers' job search fund.

I would have told Disney to go put it where Mickey will feel it. And we need to stop issuing H1-B visas for a while, at lest.

People also need to stop going to Disney and let them know why.

Disney IT sucks. Has for years.

Bottom line, they were let go for cause.

They deserved to be fired.

Welcome to the party.

The tech industry has had to put up with the H1B travesty for years. Nobody cared that tech workers were being massively displaced by H1B's in the past. I personally have trained my H1B replacement(s) 5 times in various companies since 2000. When the H1B warning flag was raised here on FR years ago some would tell the displaced workers (including me) to basically "suck it up" and "get a job ... any job" completely dismissing the years of college and experience that was invested in one's career. They were perfectly happy to roll over and let the H1B's have the tech jobs ... our jobs.

Well now the H1B plague is hitting other industries and these newly displaced workers are whining about it. Well ... how's it feel ? I am savoring that moment when "I told you so" just doesn't say it enough.

Even if, Disney should hire local talent before bringing in low cost immigrants.

Disney doesn’t sponsor gay days. A local travel agency in Orlando does. Disney ignores the event completely, the best they can legally do.

Now, what Disney DOES officially sponsor is:

Nights of Joy Christian concerts.
Candlelight Processional Christmas story.
Osborne Family Lights
Christmas decorations in all parks and resorts.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

It’s a lie that Disney sponsors gay days.

It’s a fact that Disney sponsors many Christmas events.

Every person on the stage needs to be asked about this issue...

And the next democrat love fest needs to be the same... ask the question.
