I do not consent to be interviewed, please put away the camera.
If they do not put away the camera, walk away.
The guy is an Occupy type agitator. To engage him at all is a waste of time. He’s trying to provoke any sort of untoward response to as to justify escalation, ultimately to violence.
Old and good advice:
“Don’t get into a pissing contest with a skunk.”
Arguing with a liberal is like trying to put makeup on a pig. It accomplishes nothing and just annoys the pig.
I cannot argue with idiots. Walk away.
Agreed. That guy was so deliberately aggressive, though, I can see why it would be hard for some not to push back. Even though it accomplished nothing, I think the guy in the video did a good job of not losing his cool while trying to defend himself and others.
Walking way should be the appropriate answer, as is if asked if I am carrying to say, it is none of your business.
Arguing with the person and their camera person, is a waste of time. The only things I would have don't differently are to say (1)I don't do interviews, please turn the camera off, start walking away.
If they follow, (2) turn and ask them if I should be afraid for my life or safety? That “code words” for should I draw my weapon. If they say yes or continued to follow, (3)I would continue walking away or backing away and call 911, explaining that I am armed and that someone threatened me and I am trying to get away from them, but they keep coming after me, If they said I should be concerned about my life or safety.
That would at least get the police there quickly and provide them with the start of an interesting conversation with the camera team.
The video was taken at the St. Louis Zoo.

I think sound advice.
Thanks.
That shake has to be fake.
I carried a the STL Zoo several times, once in 2015-with my grand daughters. Yes, it is posted, no it is not a crime to carry even though posted- MO law is clear, unless it is one of several “prohibited places” any lawful CC who so does in the face of a posted sign is simply choosing what they believe is the best COA. If a CC is “discovered” in a posted premises, they can leave or if they refuse and the cops are summoned, they can be escorted out and given a citation ($100 minor non-traffic). Open carry- meh, not a way to protect oneself, and I know there is debate, but we are in society, not a war zone ( well, with caveats I suppose, but inner city locales are not for me for any reason.).
I will return to the zoo and carry-concealed for my family’s safety, but I won’t go out of my way to create a disturbance, I carry to use only in the gravest of extremes, not to make any kind of statement whatsoever. I leave that to my pen and ink.
Don't go there.
It is full of rude & crude liberals.
If you must go there:
Go in after 9AM and out by 3PM to miss the rush hour traffic.
The carry guy did a great job with this looney tune character.
that is not too smart. Kind of reminds me of the dog that chases cars... short life.
LOL, that's so true.
Open carry advocates kinda deserve all of the negative attention they get. Don’t have much sympathy for them.
Best response? Carry concealed and never deal with him.
