Indeed.
Trump has been fighting the media basically single-handedly and Trump haters said he was whining.
Cruz finally opens up on them and the same said Cruz was brilliant.
Trump steps in and carries it to a next logical level, and now he is having a hissy fit.
You must be afraid he will succeed.

I'm beginning to believe Mexico will build the wall. And pay for it. Why didn't you believe it before?

I have never understood why the RNC would kowtow to the lousy moderators. Put Levin on a panel.
Because RNC = MSM/GOPee/Establishment/DC

The "media" shouldn't even be involved in these "debates". It is a bunch of hard-core Democrats fixing things to make sure the Democrat is elected. Yes, the GOP shouldn't back down from answering tough questions, but the opposition should have to do so, as well.

Trump keeps telling us that he's a talented negotiator - here's his chance to SHOW what that means, in real time.I agree with that. And I think Trump agrees with that. My problem is that by acting alone he has tossed away his leverage. Do you think Bush and Carson and Rubio care whether or not Trump shows up for the debate. I don't think so. It would be good riddance for most if not all of the candidates. More time for them and less exposure for Trump.
The Trump upside just doesn't look that good to me. The downside looks terrible. Little to gain and lots to lose - missing the next debate for example.
So I don't get it. I think it's a mistake. But time will tell.
This is such fun.

. . . then he made the Congress lame-duck the next day." Congress has always had the constitutional authority to not only impeach and remove lawless Obama from office, but also to override his vetoes. So corrupt, RINO-controlled Congress is arguably supporting Obama by letting him get away with his unconstitutional actions.
To: odawg
Actually it was and is a Trump and Cruz double team.
Cruz did a fantastic job of bringing attention of MSM bias
in the debate with real leadership.
And Trump has the power to help make those changes.
Leadership by both Cruz and Trump.

You can be sure that he will use a live stream from youtube or OAN as leverage.

What evidence can you point to as a basis for that conclusion? There is nobe - at least so far. But he is acting alone. For me that's proof enough. Had the group of candidates said let's just let Trump handle this we wouldn't be having this discussion.

If I understand correctly, to disagree with the President means you (Congress) are “shutting down the government”. To be consistent this now well worn dynamic will have to be true no matter the numbers in Congress. They have rendered themselves largely irrelevant of late.

When Trump shows up, viewership is 24 million. Without him the viewership is perhaps 4 million or less.
