Thanks, I am aware of that passage but the poster was implying the entire world, not just Damascus......unless my inference was wrong.

Read up some study on Ezekiel 38. Russia just being in the ME next to Israel should cause anybody with prophecy interest to look at what is going on with even more interest.

I went back and read the poster’s sentence. If they’d have put the word “Damascus” between “future” and “will”, it would have made a bit more sense.

The body of the article does not seem to offer any data to support that headline.
The closest is the first paragraph, which says With Russian President Vladimir Putin ordering his security council to develop defensive nuclear equipment, the Pentagon says Moscow is poised to use nuclear weapons to "bring a speedy peace."
Note, the writer "the Pentagon says". A large building in Virginia did not say anything. What specific person said that, and where did valuewalk.com get that quote?
Did that quote come from a press release? A statement to Congress? Pillow-talk between the author and some general? The article does not say.
This is just shoddy pseudo-journalism, IMHO.
