I would’ve thought the country was ready for a Conservative Governor after eight years of Obama but the most Conservative Governors (Walker, Perry, Jindal and Gilmore (low polls)) were the first to quit the race. Meanwhile, the most moderate Governors (Kasich, Bush, Huckabee, Christie and Pataki) are still in the running.
As a native Louisianan, I like Jindal as Governor. He’s got the unions mad (especially teacher’s union), and that’s just fine, but it’s also the reason for some folks to not like him.
I believe part of the reason he stepped aside, is, if Vitter loses the election, it would reflect bad on his candidacy.
