California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom (D) wants to lead a fight against gun ownership–yet has spent millions of taxpayer dollars to surround himself with armed security.

Breibart News previously reported Newsom’s belief that the Paris attacks would have been worse if citizens had been armed for self-defense. He told HBO’s Bill Maher that the whole idea of a good guy with a gun stopping a bad guy is “mythology.”

Well, his security detail is "trained" unlike some common everyday "civilian". Besides, he'd be in a sky box or some other location reserved for the elite anyway so no mingling with the crass working folks. They're so yucky.

Liberals are all for letting into our country tens of thousands of so-called “refugees” from countries that shout “Death to America”...

Yet, they are scared to death of a conservative with a handgun.......

This guy is one of th biggest sneeze bags I’ve seen in government in a while. Didn’t he sleep with one or more of his subordinants wives? How people can still support him is scary.

The part that is disgusting about politicians treating themselves like royalty is the fact they are among the worst of our society; greed, lust, pride, corruption, stupidity, lying; i.e. all that is foul and low. They do not warrant special treatment and people recognize that fact.

We need a new national holiday—let’s call it We the People Day. On that day, all the security details for every public official stays home.

Newsom has presidential ambitions. The security detail is compliments of the Democrat Party which controls California.

So soon the world has forgotten 1982 when California Prop 15 was given to the voters to ban handgun sales in the state. It was guaranteed to pass! The Brady Bunch were popping champagne corks in celebration of a win on the morrow! CBS ran a special anti-gun program the night before to get out the anti-gun vote!
BOOM! The proposition failed by a landslide!
Since that day, the politicians have been working overtime to get around the will of the voters, one anti-gun nibble at a time.

And, if the results are not to their liking, they will overturned by some lib court.

“He told HBO’s Bill Maher that the whole idea of a good guy with a gun stopping a bad guy is “mythology.” Based on that, he should have no security detail since good guys (his security detail) can’t stop the bad guys anyway. And I would take issue with your comment that his security detail is better trained than many everyday civilians. Yes, some aren’t well trained, but many many are.

If the good guy with a gun is mythology, do we conclude that the goons surrounding him are bad guys? Does he really want to play into the BLM stereotype of cops as bad guys?

The better question is, does this goober think before he speaks?

It’s still too soon since the Bundy Ranch public land trashing and standoff for me to start using BLM for something else....
