Rubio Ready to Admit More Terrorists to USA, Cruz Ready to be Commander-in-Chief
CHQ ^ | 11/30/2015 | CHQ Staff

Conservatives are coming together to rebut a bogus attack on Senator Ted Cruz launched by a shadowy Super PAC aligned with establishment Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio.

Rubio and his Big Money allies have attacked Cruz for voting for the USA Freedom Act, when 67 senators were in favor of the measure and 32 against, with many of those in opposition saying the bill did not go far enough to protect privacy and curtail federal snooping into the communications of innocent American citizens.

Rubio's criticism of Cruz puts him (once again) on the same side as establishment Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and in opposition to principled limited government constitutional conservatives such Cruz and Utah's Sen. Mike Lee, the lead Republican on the bill.

Conservative Senators James Lankford (a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee) and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma and Montana's Steve Daines also voted for the bill, as did many other Senate Republicans.

Rubio's vote on the USA Freedom Act also put him squarely on the same side as Senator John McCain, the Muslim Brotherhood's chief apologists in the Senate, and the other Senators who have generally supported increasing Syrian Muslim "refugee" resettlement, a national security threat that would have been vastly increased had Rubio's "Gang of Eight" amnesty and open borders bill become law.

Our friend, principled limited government constitutional conservative Rep. Jim Bridenstine (OK-1) a combat veteran and former Navy pilot released a hard hitting ad nailing Rubio and the phony hit on Cruz by his shadowy supporters.

"As a Navy pilot, I flew combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan," Bridenstine tells viewers. "I just watched a despicable ad from one of Marco Rubio's campaign supporters suggesting that Ted Cruz is weak on security."

"I have watched Ted Cruz boldly stand against President Obama's appeasement of those who threaten our security, from Iran, to [the Islamic State], to Russia," Bridenstine continues.

As our friend Curt Mills of The Washington Examiner noted, Bridenstine later hits Rubio on immigration and the refugee crisis, saying, "I have seen Ted Cruz stand up to both Obama and Marco Rubio, when they joined forces to provide amnesty without border security. The Rubio amnesty bill would have expanded the U.S. refugee resettlement program."

Bridenstine's critique of Rubio's record mirrors our own view that among the greatest threats - if not THE greatest - national security threat we face is the vast flow of immigrants from radical Muslim terrorist hotspots and other hostile areas of the world. Marco Rubio's record is one of supporting - indeed expanding - the policies that have allowed over 2.3 million Muslim immigrants to be admitted to the United States since 9/11.

As we concluded in our columns "Homegrown Muslim Terrorism Fueled By Obama - Bush Immigration System," "America's Suicidal Muslim Immigration Policies," "Importing Jihad" and "Why Do We Let These Vipers Into America?" Islam, as it is today practiced by millions of Muslims across the globe, is inimical to the separation of church and state and government based on constitutional liberty. We are in a war of ideas, not just with radical Islamists, but with concepts deeply embedded in Muslim culture. And as long as mass legal (and illegal) immigration from Muslim countries continues unabated we are losing that war.

There is no escaping the fact that there is no daylight between Marco Rubio's policy on immigration from Islamist terrorist hotspots and Obama's policy on immigration from those countries; clearly the policies Senator Rubio has supported and advocated would expand the number of the enemy's foot soldiers brought into our midst by our own government.

We urge you to view Rep. Jim Bridenstine's ad on behalf of Ted Cruz through this link and then ask yourself, "Who is stronger on defending the Constitution, Senator Rubio, who wants to bring millions of Muslim immigrants who oppose the very idea of constitutional liberty into our country, or Senator Cruz, who voted to preserve constitutional liberty by bringing the NSA's surveillance programs back within strict constitutional bounds?"

I supported the protection of our 4th amendment rights over the power of the NSA to collect information on US citizens. While the claim was that the NSA captured ‘only’ the numbers called, it is evident from multiple errors that the NSA does have the capability to capture all data, that some events suggest they have collected all data, and their new storage facility has the capacity has to capture all data for the entire world for a century. Why have such capacity if not to use it?

So, in the debate between personal freedom and security, some would have us give up our personal freedom and place it in the hands of those who claim to protect our security. We know their ilk. They don’t care one whit for our security.

Better to insist that the nation protect our security, not by a legal right to snoop on us everyday citizens, but by absolutely destroying enemies who would violate our security.

That has always been the best security. Win against our enemies and make them wish they had never heard of us.

I removed all the active punctuation marks in this article by using “notepad”. Following the advice of another freeper who said those active marks need to be replaced with basic marks, I copy-pasted this article in windows notepad, copy-pasted an active “ with the basic “ from my keyboard by going to the replace function found under ‘edit’ and then hitting “replace all” in the pop up box. Only windows notepad works; their word processor doesn’t.

I did all open “, close “, ‘, and - in just a few keystrokes for the entire document. Took only a few minutes.

That is not really baffling when you think about who Saudi is. They want those sunni terrorists in America.

Both of those scenarios are about as scary as they can be.

Rubio doesn’t deserve it.

Cruz deserves it, but can’t do it on the money he has.

I’m not so sure. I heard at the beginning of summer that Cruz had $50 mil in various campaign coffers. If true he has quite a bit of money.

The presidency this year will cost well over a billion not counting the primary season. He doesn’t have it without kneeling before the big money donors.

Rubio is off my list. Has been since the day after the debate when he said he’d give a 10 year green card followed by pathway to citizenship.

Carson is almost off my list for being totally lacking in insight on the abortion issue. I’ll give him a chance to explain himself.

My #1 is still Cruz.

My #2 is still Trump.

Trump has the money to run and Cruz doesn’t, so I’m supporting a Trump/Cruz ticket and hoping Cruz can turn that into a nomination in 2024.

Yea some of these contributions are so heavily edited that they’ve become unreadable

I’m not using spellcheck. On one FR posting I copied it to my email. Then sent that to my drafts, went into source, edited out those correction marks, and replaced the original punctuation quotation and apostrophe marks and it held up.
