Toronto police have found several guns and a religious book in the trunk of a car that was abandoned after a crash.
The single-vehicle collision happened at Allen and Transit roads, north of Wilson Avenue, around 4:30 a.m. on Friday.
The routine investigation turned into something much more when police arrived to find no one in the car.
However, they did find a machine gun with a silencer, two handguns, one silencer for a handgun, and a small amount of ammunition. Police said the religious materials do not appear to have any connection to the investigation, and it is likely a guns and gangs case.
Police are still looking for the occupant or occupants of the car.
What "religious book" is it anyway, whose subject religion cannot be named, yet can be so easily inferred?
Because they don’t want to admit it is a Koran.
I bet it is Islam.
It must be Purpose Driven Life.
They mention it because “center” and “centrist” will be the buzzwords for the 2016 presidential election.
The plan is to identify, label, isolate, ridicule, and condemn anyone who is outside the Left’s definition of “the center as an extremist.
The pitch for gun control will be to keep them out of the hands of extremists.
And yes, that is primarily aimed at those who “cling to their guns and Bibles” and those who support our Founding Fathers’ intent and the fundamentals of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

It’s Canada. The government hates Christianity so much they dare not speak its name, or mention Its Book. So in this case I give the Koran a 50/50 chance.
We would have known it was a Bible long before the bodies had gone cold.
“Machine gun”? Like an M60? Or is this reporter Newspeak for an AR-15?
About 600,000 muslims in Ontario, about 5% of the population. Problem is they're concentrated around Toronto making their percentage much higher.

If they just call it a religious book then they hope that the general population will assume it is a Bible and will take the approved inferences.
LOL, the story posted earlier in the day read as tho the police couldnt figure out if guns were found or not. I see theyve finally ID those long metal things as guns. Thats a step in the right direction. Now theyre left with the ‘religious book’. Bet ID on thatll take MUCH longer...maybe forever.
Probably a bolt action or a single shot. Details aren’t important, as long as the story supports the agenda.
