What kind of dimwit would expect an affirmative answer to those questions?
Oh yeah, that's right...
...it's a federal government form.

Without some kind of lie detection methods these forms are useless. While lie detection isn’t fool proof it is generally accepted to be 70-90% accurate and other countries like South Korea use them in immigrate and refugee screening.

Ban Islam in civilized countries, deport Muslims, put US troops on our borders, institute a “pet the pig” requirement to enter western nations or board a plane. Let the various factions kill each other in their own countries.
Yeah, I know... but I can dream, right?

They LIED on a federal form? Oh boy, are they in trouble now! I can't understand how this isn't keeping all the Bad Guys out of the country. Although, since the INS is out of the deportation business, it's not like giving wrong answers to idiot questions can get them thrown out of the country.
We are SO screwed...

Because you can totally expect a terrorist to answer honestly... Probably still more honest than the kenyan/indonesian commie clown usurping the office of POTUS.
BTW; Why no question about compliance with "Gun Free Zones"?

So it is effective in keeping out honest terrorists.
It is kind of like when a potential date asked me if I was an axe murderer. That question would only protect her from honest axe murderers.
