No, they spend it so I can have a few hours of entertainment and levity after a long and exhausting day at work.
Books and print can be just as manipulative and controlling as TV, so you are eliminating one form of media control for another.
Being a Trumpoid :) I have to interject here - I thought the debate went well and really highlighted how just incompetent our government is. I spent a good part of the debate looking at two first term Senators arguing with each other. No wonder nothing ever gets done there. They really made clear to America just how incompetent they are.
You do know that the purpose of a debate is to argue, I hope! If they held televised Presidential Candidate Concurrings, nobody would tune in. Jebber and The Donald got into the spirit as well.

I know that :) However, spending an hour arguing and having nothing to show for it, nothing accomplished except failed bills does not show competence.
It was a bore fest which was set up by CNN.
rand paul, Fiorina, and Christie should have been at the kiddie table debate.
