Buried in the 2000-page omnibus spending bill released by the Senate this morning is a secret provision that many senators hope unemployed blue-collar workers won’t find out about.

This provision would quadruple the number of H-2B visas for unskilled foreign “guest workers.” It would allow more than a quarter of a million foreign workers to enter the U.S. each year and work in the construction industry, hotel-motel services, truck drivers, food processing, forestry and many other fields that don’t require a college education.

The Gang of Eight bill back in 2013 also increased the controversial H-2B visa that brings in foreign workers to fill jobs as construction workers, restaurant workers, hotel maids, etc.

In just the case of construction, there are six unemployed construction workers for each job opening, according to a study by the Economic Policy Institute. Yet the omnibus released around 2 a.m, Wednesday, would as much as quadruple the H-2B visa in an unadvertised provision secreted into the more than 2,000 page bill.

All the GOP asked for was Chamber of Commerce handouts, like quadrupling work visas and lifting the ban on oil exports.

They literally only exist anymore to serve the Chamber of Commerce. Conservatives, Pro Lifers, Constitutionalists, and veterans lose on everything.

Not one thing for Conservatives, not one victory. None. More suppressed wages, more immigration from third world countries, Planned Parenthood gets funded, and oil companies can now artificially inflate domestic gas prices by reducing domestically available supply.

Young people have a hand in this debacle; while I don’t believe they are all Obamunists or leftists, I see far too many completely disengaged from the political process. I’m tired of listening to ignorant non-voting young people whine about anything that could be fixed politically. The left didn’t win because a majority of people supported their ideology; they won because they successfully suppressed the votes of those who disagree with them. Voter apathy has reaped young people what they are sowing now; I have no sympathy for them. They can prepare the fast food for, and wash the cars of, the Asians trafficked here to replace them.

Right? I remember when I first heard of Ryan. He was pushing a budget that seemed to be quite conservative. Spending cuts and all.
