U.S. Marshals offer $5k reward for wanted "affluenza" teen.

U.S. Marshals eager to catch the runaway “affluenza” teen have promised a bounty for the missing brat.

Agents are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips on the whereabouts of Ethan Couch, the Texas teen who dodged jail time for a fatal 2013 DUI wreck after his lawyers argued he was too privileged to understand the severity of what he did.

The 18-year-old vanished after he failed to show up to a Dec. 11 probation hearing. His mother, Tonya Couch, is also missing.

Local Tarrants County deputies began the hunt for Couch and werejoined by FBI agents and U.S. Marshals Friday.

The U.S. Marshals Service released a wanted poster for the teen Friday, begging anyone with information on Couch to come forward. The flier describes Couch as a 5-foot-7, 130-pound teenager with strawberry blond hair and a back tattoo.

I think the Marshals should’ve offered a $5 reward. Just to piss him off.

Only 5K, you won’t get much action on that, I say start issuing hunting licenses for the little animal, not only will the Marshalls get the carcass in short order, they will turn a profit too!

“His mother, Tonya Couch, is also missing.”

Clue: Check on business jet departures from the US for countries w/o extradition treaties with the US. Might also want to arrest the father as an accessory, and as others have suggested, review the judge’s financial dealings.

Let’s hope that young Ethan resists arrest and is dealt with accordingly.

“I must be the only one who on the planet that doesn’t know what this story is even about-”

This little bastard (17 at the time) drove drunk and killed four people including a child.(in Texas). The judge let him go with probation, then immediately retired from the bench. Now the kid didn’t show of to meet with his probation officer, and both he and his mother have disappeared. They are wealthy. You figure it out.

He was so privileged he didn’t even understand how privileged he was, so he had to be privileged some more to help him understand how privileged he was. Yep, that makes sense.

The MSM's definition of "affluenza" is different than that of Rush, who coined the term. Affluenza, according to El Rushbo, is a mental condition of rich white liberals with guilty consciences. They feel so guilty about their success and "white privilege" they have to make up for it by demanding the rest of us pay for social programs, affirmative action, and preferential treatment for minorities in the criminal justice system, and other racial/socio-economic preferences.

Rush, this dittohead has your back. I know who's term it is.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

"I'm fearing that they have gone a long way and may even be out of the country,"

I suspect they're close to home. You simply can't accumulate sufficient cash to carry out of the country in order to live a life of affluence wherever you go, for long. Using anything but cash, anywhere, will give your location away.

I would put a watch on daddy's cash acquisitions, and then follow him around.

Doesn’t it become a federal case once it starts involving multiple states?

This kid's father, Fred Couch, is evidently a bum who has had numerous brushes with the law, including impersonating a police officer, theft, assaulting a woman (his ex-wife) and other infractions.

Affluent? He's more like white trash.

The son is white trash too. Like father, like son.

It automatically becomes a Federal case if there is any evidence that a fugitive has crossed a state line or fled the country.
