I loved the part where G.S. totally destroyed himself when he asked Trump with a straight face something close to, “Are you saying the US is responsible for Iran buying missiles from Russia?”
There is no answer other than “YES!!!” Not on anyone’s planet. Not a conservative’s planet. Not a liberal’s planet. You can’t say no without telling a flat out invincibly ignorant lie to yourself.
Even if you believe Iran’s nuclear intentions are peaceful (I said IF) you can’t get around their missile purchases nor can you get around that they are finalizing those purchases now... AFTER the deal and AFTER the agreement to begin lifting sanctions. You can’t get around this.
And you’d have to be a buffoon who just doesn’t care about foreign policy at all to not put together that it might be just a LITTLE BIT DIFFICULT(tm) to fly in there and bomb those facilities at a later date if they don’t follow the deal when they just used a chunk of the 150 billion dollars we freed up to buy state of the art air defense from Russia.
This isn’t foreign policy. It’s something else entirely.
