Breitbart ^ | 12/19/15 | Awr Hawkins

Posted on 12/20/2015 1:35:29 PM PST by LibWhacker

On December 18, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio referenced President Obama’s pending executive action on gun control and said executive order or not, guns will not be surrendered.

<*snip*>

Now, Jen Psaki, White House communications director, says executive action to go around Congress and expand gun control will be coming in “weeks, not months.”

<*snip*>

Arpaio said that “there’d be a revolution” if a president ever issued such an order.

There is absolutely no legal reason IMHO for anybody to “obey” an exec order. We have a congress to write our laws. And any order Impairing citizens’ rights to keep and bear arms would additionally violate the second amendment Two reasons we would plan to flush any such e o down the nearest toilet where it belongs GTH Bo.

Hey, Obie! Make sure you print your executive orders on a roll. Preferably two-ply and perforated.

Plus the fact that executive orders apply only to people under the jurisdiction of the executive branch of government. Executive orders do not apply to citizens (who don’t work for the government).

Seriously, how could they enforce it?

The people who own guns tend to be informed regarding their rights under God and the Constitution.

There is absolutely no legal reason IMHO for anybody to “obey” an exec order.

Executive Orders are for the Executive Branch of the government. For example, Executive Order 12333, signed on December 4, 1981 by President Ronald Reagan, was intended to extend powers and responsibilities of U.S. intelligence agencies and direct the leaders of U.S. federal agencies to co-operate fully with CIA requests for information. It has been amended twice.

They have no jurisdiction over anything else. Of course, not that this fool in the White Hut feels compelled to obey that restriction, nor that the Quislings in either of the House Chambers feel compelled to stop him.

I would not obey any illegal laws from them either.

God gave me my Civil Rights, and I will return them to Him with my hand so that He can give them to someone after me.

If anyone tries to interfere with that, woe be upon them.

“Plus the fact that executive orders apply only to people under the jurisdiction of the executive branch of government.”

He can have ATF change the 4473 form without even an EO. Suppose he makes a new box saying “attach psychological evaluation from a certified psychiatrist here”? Not something you can refuse or disobey.

The ultimate law is the Constitution. Armed forces swear allegiance to the Constitution, not to the president. The question about the military following illegal orders was quite nicely decided at the Nuremberg Trials.

owebama is so insulated by the fawning court jesters in his administration and the dem-media that he has no clue what real Americans in flyover country will do if he tries anything like this. They’re probably telling him that everyone agrees with him and he eagerly believes it.
