When you put down those of us as "damn fools" or whatever who have questions about Cruz's previous support of H1B visas, it doesn't change that he previously supported that position. My concerns started with his support of the first TPA, the one before Obama changed it then got different people to vote for it. He was played; we need a deal maker as President.
No one's answered what's wrong with this reasoning: Four years of Donald Trump, free of owing political favors, is the only way to start cleaning up the mess in DC. WHAT IS Cruz's hurry? Trump is going to need help in the US Senate cleaning up that sewer, and one thing we know for sure. That would be if he leaves the US Senate we can't take ANYONE at their word who would be elected to take his place.

This person who posted this is obsessed with it. Check his history. It is a Trump supporter trying to bring down Cruz. Vile tactic.
They show up for every election. More likely a GOPe type nesting among the Trump supporters.

Let’s see, way back when, Rubio rode on the shoulders of conservatives because he presented as a staunch conservative who wanted to shut down the border. Then, having discovered the Dark Side of self-importance, he goes all-in with the Gang-of-Eight and we are starting to find out a lot of ways where he has fallen off the conservative ledge - then he accuses Cruz, who has been 99.44% consistent, of flip-flopping....

And that is his good point. Like Obama’s voters and disciples, there is no word, or string of words that are vile enough, derogatory enough or obscene enough to describe him, in my opinion.

Flip flopping? You mean like Rubio’s promising on Thursday to “fight the omnibus budget bill with ever possible procedural tool” then not showing up Friday for “A meaningless show vote”?
That sort of flip flopping?

Cruze voted against, Rubio voted for, the rest of this is just meaningless noise to distract from those facts and immunize Rubio on the issue.

Let me see....what do you have to say about Donald Trump's support for Obama’s unconstitutional, illegal “Dream Act” which gave amnesty to millions of illegals then mate? And his earlier support for amnesty?

Mr. Trump is responding to the nation as he sees it now. He'll make proposals, get the best people to be the problem solvers, and not owe anyone favors that would influence decision making.
The other consideration is that a lot of what Mr. Trump did in the past was from the perspective of being a successful businessman. What he's doing now and in the future is as a patriot who loves his country and will do what's best to Make America Great Again.
(c'mon don't you listen to the rallies?)

You cannot seriously believe Trunp will be free of donor strings by the end of the general if he gets he nomination do you???
It's going to take $500 million+ to win the election, where is that money going to come from? The GOP??? Guess where it comes from there...? Donors.
Trump is not above taking donations, he is not above the sewer of politics, he is just getting in the water... You're seeing a complete novice make their way into the game, skipping the usual path due to their own wealth, but in the end he will be just as beholden to donors as any other politician. Do not kid yourself.
So the true question is, do you want approved liberal nationalist progressive who recently flipped to conservative ideals, or a lifelong conservative who had to duke it out with some of the filthiest politicians known to man in the US Senate...?
I think the answer is quite obvious, at least if you are honest with yourself about how conservative positions....
Cruz is the only candidate in which a conservative should place their support. By not supporting him, all people are doing is showing their true colors in my honest opinion.

Four years of Donald Trump, free of owing political favors, is the only way to start cleaning up the mess in DC. Concurring bump...Cruz needs more seasoning in the Senate and Trump needs allies he can trust there.

Yup. The only constitutional conservative in the race and anything else is just a progressive of varying degrees.

Donald Amnesty Trump says “Hello”:
Reilly from just this past summer:
Bill OâReilly: Now, the 15 million illegal aliens already in the United States, what do you do with them?
Donald Trump: I think right now youâre going to have to do something. Itâs hard to generalize, but youâre going to have to look at the individual people, see how theyâve done, see how productive theyâve been, see what their references are, and then make a decision.
Bill OâReilly: All right, on a case-by-caseâgoing to take a long time and a lot of people.
Donald Trump: A long time, but you know, you have some great, productive people that came.
You have to give them a path. You have 20 million, 30 million, nobody knows what it is. It used to be 11 million. Now, today I hear itâs 11, but I donât think itâs 11. I actually heard you probably have 30 million. You have to give them a path, and you have to make it possible for them to succeed. You have to do that.>
A path? A path to what? Note well: He said this weeks after the comments in his announcement speech about Mexican rapists that turned him into an overnight hero among border hawks

Ted = always been a registered Republican
Trump = switched parties at least 5 times
Ted = studied the US Constitution in High School, college and practiced defending it in his career
Trump = never mentions the US Constitution
Ted = record of fighting against amnesty
Trump = said he’ll deport all illegals, but then let the “good ones” back in (whatever that means)
Ted = stands shoulder to shoulder in support of/with Jeff Sessions
Trump = has stood shoulder to shoulder with and has financially contributed to, the Clintons
Seems, there’s a big difference in the two candidates.
