For nearly a month, Jeb Bush has established himself as the leading Donald Trump attacker, convinced that relentlessly criticizing the Republican front- runner's temperament and rhetoric will draw fresh support.
So far, it hasn't worked very well.
Bush remains stranded at the back of the GOP pack, polling at around 4 percent nationally and little better in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire. Trump, meanwhile, has actually gained ground over that time - and has only intensified the barrage of insults he routinely lobs at Bush.

Jeb is getting pathetic. Everyone knows his candidacy is over. The only reason Mike Murphy hasn’t told him that yet is because he wants to pump the famous Bush donor rolodex for $20 or $30 million more before he pulls the plug. George Sr. and W need to stage an intervention and tell Jeb that they will love him and respect him even though he has failed miserably to even win the nomination, but that its time for him to hang it up.
Agreed. He should rapidly withdraw. That would be the merciful thing to do. The way Bush is going will only tarnish the Bush name(If possible.)
Changing parties and running as a Democrat.
The Democrats are clearly desperate for someone other than Hillary to vote for. That is the only explanation for Bernie Sanders polling in double digits.

That is what I fear. They will pull a dirty trick and give it to Jeb.
I laughed out loud when Jeb commented that Trump couldn’t insult his way to top and concludes with he insult that Trump got his military background by watching Saturday cartoons.
Oops ! He in Alinsky style just accused Trump of what he himself was doing.
He would certainly get more votes if he changed his name to Donald Trump. That might help.
Herbert Walker Bush sank his campaign by calling Democrats, “Those bozos.” Name calling is ineffective as a political ploy.

If Bush really wants to help defeat Trump then he should pull out of the race.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My body starts to pre-cringe when I know Yeb is gonna try to sound tough. And then when it happens, it’s so pathetic it’s not even laughable, like when Yeb called Trump a jerk. You just think to yourself: geez, what a truly pathetic wimp.
