A college professor has taken to the New York Times to implore "white America" to go to "war" with itself over its alleged racism. Professor George Yancy of Emory University published "Dear White America" as a "gift" for white people. His challenge: "White America, are you prepared to be at war with yourself, your white identity, your white power, your white privilege?" Yancy, a black professor, told Times readers Dec. 24 that, just as he considers himself sexist, all white people should admit to possessing latent racism. "I can see your anger. I can see that this letter is being misunderstood. This letter is not asking you to feel bad about yourself, to wallow in guilt. That is too easy. I’m asking for you to tarry, to linger, with the ways in which you perpetuate a racist society, the ways in which you are racist," said Yancy.
"I am asking you to enter into battle with your white self. I'm asking that you open yourself up; to speak to, to admit to, the racist poison that is inside of you. [...] As you reap comfort from being white, we suffer for being black and people of color. But your comfort is linked to our pain and suffering."
The "Pursuing Trayvon Martin" author goes on to say that asking about black-on-black violence is tantamount to rejecting his "gift." "Some of your white brothers and sisters have made this leap. The legal scholar Stephanie M. Wildman, has written, 'I simply believe that no matter how hard I work at not being racist, I still am. Because part of racism is systemic, I benefit from the privilege that I am struggling to see.' Not all of the newspaper's readers were willing to accept Yancy's "gift."

Regardless of the fact that many of these Muslim slave markets are still alive and operational in Islamic Nations today, the Western World is beyond redemption. Our sin remains unexpurgated while Islam gets a pass. Why is our racism a supposed genetic moral deformation peculiar to the White Western World (even though Blacks in America and Europe are much better off than their counterparts in Africa...but Shhhh...don't let facts get in the way of a good story) and overt Islamic racism continues unabated and above reproach? The answer is Islam codifies slavery and does not care, while the western world, because of its Christian ethos, does...oh...and it is good business for race hucksters!
Leftists like this professor would be out of a job without the boogieman of racism. If he were honest, he could see God's providence in bringing African men and women out of the clutches of Islam to the Christian shores of the America (to be set free). He could see in American soldiers, "Greater love has no man than to lay his life down for his friends", in fighting for their emancipation. And he could see more importantly the following...

I am very proud of my primarily “white” heritage, and proudly point out “white” accomplishments to my children. They can see “black” accomplishments for themselves.

Widening and radicalizing the racial divide is not in the best interest of black Americans.
If everything is about race then after a while - everything is going to be about race.
Perhaps these race pimps count on whites bending over permanently. Based on what is happening in Europe maybe they are correct. Based on gun and ammo sales - maybe they are not.

I do not think of myself as a white racist, but let’s say I am. Just for argument’s sake.

Lots of people are lots of things, some are dummass socialists, some are racists of another race, some are murderous thugs, some are old-fashioned jackasses, some are militant homosexuals, and on and on.
Here’s the thing, each of us has to go on living our life, if we have one, and deal with it. Just like this jackass professor needs to get on with his life, or get one if he doesn’t have one yet, and deal with my racism, whether in his mind or elsewhere.
But he really ought to knock off blaming his problems on other people. It’s unbecoming.

I’m a racist. If I’m walking down the street and see a group of blacks on the left side of the street and a group of whites on the other side, I will walk down the right. The caveat is that if the black group is coming out of church and the white group has tats and wife beaters, I will probably take the left. I’m so confused in my racism. Maybe there is something else in play.
People who hold that all yellow people are racist, are themselves racists.

They took 3 trillion in war on poverty funds, and 5 decades since MLK, and accomplished nothing (as a group). They have to blame somebody for the greatest failure to capitalize on opportunity in history. So blame whitey.
