Would that include tube mags like a nylon .22 or 10-22?

Gonna have to go to belt fed weapons if they outlaw long mags.

I wonder if he ever knows what the second amendment to our constitution says.

Has he even read the 2nd Amendment? Clear and concise, how can he ignore it? Does he not understand the phrase ‘shall not be infringed?’ That phrase closes the issue - or should.
End of discussion...

I know he doesn’t care about it but if he ever discussed it he would employ the usual sophistry about militias. As childish as he is he might even trot out the “Founders couldn’t imagine anything more powerful than muskets” tripe.

it is being billed as

——A BILL

To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.——

Where In the constitution did it say the right to bear arms is not unlimited?

This bill is sick

When does it get voted on?

Obuma has always been against America and if he thinks he can take the guns away, he’s going to be out of office suddenly....

People are upset, and angry at him, House and Senate and they will not put up with anymore, he had better watch what he is doing, Americans are famous for taking their country back, something he must have missed by being a ‘foreign aid student’....

"When does it get voted on?"

No idea. It seems to have been bouncing around in comittee, then they took their holiday recess.

If I were a candidate - I would clearly and publicly warn Federal agencies and employees: In a very short, this administration will be over. Anyone who implements unconstitutional, unilateral actions without Congressional approval will make themselves and their agencies an immediate target for punishment and prosecution.

Good Idea.

I wonder if any of them would have the guts to do it, even if they shared the sentiment.

From the government's own OPM website:

http://archive.opm.gov/constitution_initiative/oath.asp

"I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God." 5 U.S.C. §3331

"As Federal civil servants, we take an oath of office by which we swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. The Constitution not only establishes our system of government, it actually defines the work role for Federal employees - "to establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any Federal civilian that violates their oath to follow the illegal "orders" of Obama are themselves guilty. They may as well employ the Nuremberg Defense. They will still be guilty and held accountable for violating their oath and the Constitution.

These “gun control” actions will either be useless and trivial or they will be useless and unconstitutional. The occupant of our White House cannot legally do anything significant to infringe on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms without Congress.
