Yes I read the dialogue. Shouldn’t have had to. Cruz should’ve said what he had to say at a rally those deep-pocket donors could attend along with everyone else.

I’m referring to the deep pocket donors, the ones that contribute a lot of money and have a lot of needs a President can attend to. I thought originally Cruz was going to avoid those large donations. It’s one reason I donated my small amount when he started his campaign.

Any one individual can only contribute a maximum of $2,700 to a campaign. So what are you talking about?

The issue is he's making these declarations behind closed doors to deep pocket donors.

He is also making these declarations in open forums, major speeches and on the floor of the US Senate.

I wish there were some better voices standing for social conservatism than Huckabee and Santorum. They both have an irritating pettiness about them, and worse, they always seem to defer back and stand with the establishment crowd (which actually despises them, duh), against any kind of reformist/populist trend. They’re doggedly mired to tired pathway which always leads to their dead-end defeat.

Behind closed doors?

Ted Cruz has been a high profile consistent champion of the Constitution since high school...in public, in private, everywhere.

To the author of this piece I have one thing to say: Dude, why did you EVER fall for the Huckatorum or Santuckabee schtick. They’re both transparent phonies with bad attitudes.

I’m talking about the Super Pacs. And don’t use the argument that “the candidate has no control over them”. Trump publicly told those formed for him to disband and told people they are dishonest.

Dude (or Dudette), you are polluting this thread. As a person always protective or his (digital) environment, I ask you to please leave.

You obviously haven’t read the entire article, or maybe you are a paid troll.

Whichever, please go.

Spot on.

The Feds have already, unfortunately, decided on this.

Until it is overturned, the states are quite limited.

What is the lie, Cruz gave up on defense of marriage at national level, criticises homosexual marriage, yet now says forget about it, not his problem. So, he is now okay with homosexual marriage at national level, sanctioned by federal government? Huckleberry is very right to call him on this.

What you care about social issues? The other day you said Cruz’s talk about faith offended you, and you labeled him the “Christian Taliban.”

It’s morphed into deep pocket donors and behind closed doors.

So deep pockets Trump's intentions are good.

But deep pockets Cruz donors and Cruz himself, have bad intentions.

And what's this fallacy that you have that Trump doesn't have private meetings. Or are Trump's private meetings good and Cruz's private meetings bad?

No. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Too many people are in favor of limited government until it limits what they want government to do.

That's a great sentence right there, you totally nailed it! So many so-called conservatives are just fine with the federal government being huge with stupid out of control spending, as long as the spending is on something they like.

Stuff like the military industrial complex (I love a strong military, just not a crony wasteful military), faith based charities getting taxpayer money, conservative NGO's funneling taxpayer cash to connected employees, etc...

The issue is he's making these declarations behind closed doors to deep pocket donors.

This, sir, is a completely dishonest and morally putrid thing to say. Ted Cruz told those donors exactly what he has been telling the public his entire public life.

This is a fact that is readily discernible to anyone with powers of discernment anywhere north of moron.

Since I know from your posts that you are not a moron, you therefore stand exposed as a liar.

The question is: Why? We know the answer to that, too. It is because you are a Trump partisan who believes his candidate to be so weak that he must be supported by lying about Ted Cruz. It's pitiable, really.
