His the historic home made noodle recipe
Mom got it from an article on Mayme Eisenhower (Ike’s favorite)
Two egg yokes or one large egg
2 teas oil (capful or so )
2 tablespoon of cream (milk or milk product)
1/2 teas baking powder
1/2 teas salt
Enough flour to make a stiff dough (usually a bit less than a cup I use rest on board
Noodles do NOT need to be dried!
Roll/ cut and cook with broth about 20 minutes
I always roll it using the small rolling pin my grandmother was given by her grandfather (he made it ). Both of HIS grandfathers signed the Bradford Accord and fought under Washington
So it becomes a real heritage thing for me. Particularly since sitting on the counter helping grand ma roll out cookies and noodles is one of the few memories I have of her. She passed when I was four

It can easily multiplied and I even made with one left over egg yoke : and made a quick chicken noodle soup !

I do not watch movies. But my guess would be Hoosiers about the Milan Indiana high school team. A friends father played on the team.

Sis uses 1/4 teas baking powder and 1/4 teas salt. Her noodles are not as plump. Her broth is usually not homemade Commercial broth is saltier
